Avoid. They are always, always, always out of rice or beans or cheese, or tortillas, or some soda and the dinning room has huge water leaks in the ceiling. The best thing about this pollo loco is the nasty Taco Bell next to it.

Why does this location suck so bad? 4/5 times I go to this location, my order is wrong In some way. One time they told me they "ran out of chicken breast, never got a refund, another time I ordered on the app to pick up at 8pm and when I showed up an employee told me they were closed, never got a refund. Today I asked for a double chicken tostada salad and got a regular salad.

The management at this store needs to step it up. The last 4 times I have visited the crunchy tacos have not been available. Also they were only giving 2 tacos Al carbon with the meal at one point for some reason. And they are using a carbonated line for the vitamin water. That’s all poor management.

I ordered used the drive- thru 9/30/24 and as usual there is always an issue. I hate leaving these bad reviews but food is too expensive to be getting ripped off. This location never ever has enough food to keep up with demand. My double chicken chopped salad had maybe 5 small squares of chicken, my dressing spilled all over the bag, I was given attitude when asked for more green sauce. I ordered an 8 piece family meal and double street corn chopped salad. I’m a nurse and when I get home I’m so tired and wanting to grab food and rest I have to pay a bunch for food that don’t don’t even fill my family cause they never have enough food here. I really hope someone in this chain does something to change this and make your customers happy and give what they pay for. I will be calling corporate as well.

Today, Tuesday, August 6th, it was 6:53pm. I came to this Pollo Loco to eat. I wanted a classic tostada. The employees told me that I had to order it on the screens they have there. But the screens are very dirty, they are sticky. I didn't feel like touching that with my hands. I asked the employee to take my order herself and she told me that she couldn't. I asked for the manager and he didn't want to help me either. I told them if they would clean the screen, I would place my order but I don't want to touch it like that. Well, they didn't help me. I got angry and left. I did tell them to clean it because in fact the restaurant in general was dirty, the tables, the floor. In part, it's better that I didn't eat there. I live in Whittier, CA and I often go to Pollo Loco to eat. The service is good there. I'm one of those people who likes to come in to sit at a table and enjoy the food.

It's supposed to close at 11pm. I visited the Alhambra location tonight at 10pm and it was closed. Not the first time this has happened. It's strange because other times they're actually open until 11pm. I don't understand.

I been to this location straight one week and there customer service to give you any additional condiments sucks. I ask thru drive thru addition condiments. They do not give yo nothing else and say they don't have it til next day. That was on day one. Is been a week same lie. I go inside. They don't accept cash. Now. Only cards. And thru a kiosk. This service is thru the gutter. For me. Stock up on red spicy.
