I came here as my lunch stop prior to heading to Universal Studios and I had a fantastic experience! My server, Spencer, was very friendly, attentive, and always checks up and offered to change grills multiple times (which was great)! Service was a 10/10! I hope he gets a raise and even gets promoted to be a restaurant manager or supervisor (if he wants to move up in the restaurant industry)!

Honestly the worst service ever we are paying a lot of money for this food and they don’t even wanna bring us the food it’s like they get bothered and bring the smallest amount they can specially with the sides. DON’T recommend That is why I love Bulgogi way better and Moon BBQ #2

My girlfriend and I came in for our 1st time for the all you can eat, the food was good,but they dont serve bean sprouts or fish cakes wth?!! the portions were very small. Had to keep ordering more and more. And the wait time in between refills was too long. Sorry but I probably won't be coming back again.

5 stars all day. Came to GEN Korean BBQ on Main and had one of the smoothest KBBQ experiences I’ve ever had. Philip took care of us like a pro—friendly, fast, and on point with every request. Grills swapped before we could ask, meats timed perfectly, drinks topped off, and the banchan never ran dry. Brisket was paper-thin and buttery, the marinated short rib was legit, and everything came out fresh and hot. Clean tables, quick pacing, and zero downtime between rounds. If you want top-notch service that actually makes your meal better, ask for Philip. We’ll be back. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Service was ok only for the fact that they had one single server tending to 5+ tables for an hour until the rest of the staff decided to show up and actually help him out. When we sat at our table the sides that were on the table looked like they were sitting out for a while, the kimchi was dry and the bowl it was in looked stained from how long it was sitting out.
Another thing I’d like to point out is the portion sizes, each serving was maybe a 1/4 of a cup and definitely not worth the price compared to other KBBQ spots I’ve been to.

Filthy! Floors are sticky, tables too. Only 4 side dishes come to the tables but missing my favorites like spinach and picked radish. Meat was ok but takes a long time to come out. We ordered a salad with barely torn leaves and with a big lettuce stem in it. Just says a lot for the cleanliness of this place and bad food prep. Should have left when my shoes were sticking to the floor! That speaks volumes. Service was terrible one server waiting on 10 tables so you can imagine how that went! Had to constantly remind them about things we had asked for like Napkins, soda etc. Stay home or go to another k bbq!
