A worker physically pushed me out of the store when I went to pick up a mobile order instead of talking to me and explaining that they aren’t doing mobile orders I guess. Extremely rude, unprofessional, and border line assaulted here at this place.

a worker physically pushed me out of the store. this store is open. I just went there to pick up a mobileorder because I was sent by fantuan, and I guess they aren't doing mobile orders anymore maybe, and one of the workers physically pushed me out of the restaurant instead of just talking to me like a civilized person would. she didn't even apologize or nothing. extremely rude and unprofessional.

Came in late for a bowl of beef noodles and the woman served me a bowl of noodles she made from instant noodles (I grew up in an Asian family so I know the taste and dehydrated veggies that come from instant noodle bags) and two pieces of beef. Couldn’t believe they thought I wouldn’t

This location is open. The dumplings were fine. But the BBQ beef skewers (10/$9.99) were all smoky fat and spices. We did not finish the set of skewers. It was really disappointing. And the waitress charged for me for two separate plates of skewers 5/$6.99 and would not honor the true price. Terrible service from the waitress even though we were the only people in the bldg. Do not recommend

This Ho Kee restaurant at Alhambra location has closed and became another mainland Chinese restaurant.

Great food. The host was very helpful and very pleasant. The noodles and the skewers are a must try. Great find overall! Also it's one of the food that becomes better next morning.

Though it still has the HoKee sign at the top of the building, it is not HoKee. The waitress there confirmed that HoKee was gone. This is how a northern Chinese noodle and BBQ restaurant. I am giving it a one star for false advertising -- using Hokee's name.

They finally changed owners and Chinny is gone. It is no longer ran by the old Kim Chuy owner. We were unaware. Ordered our usual Seafood Chowmein and got whatever their idea of Seafood Chowmein is. Here's a picture of their new "seafood chow mein"

Beware need to finish your food or they would ask you why you don't finish your food! We ordered wonton noodle soup the server gave us seafood noodle soup instead and the soup was tasteless worst noodle place ever

This is the old Kim Chuy that was at this location for over 40 years. During the first years of COVID they were take out only but eventually closed down. Since opening as Ho Kee BBQ not much has changed. Same employees, same menu.

Super disappointing. The soup was fine but the toppings were severely lacking and disappointing. Came with imitation crab meat, 2 pieces of shrimp, 2 fish balls which were the sweet, gummy cheap kind and not the ones made fresh with real fish that have more of a bounce to their texture, and some other stuff. Not satisfying at all. Would not recommend esp at this price point.

6 of us ate there last night. Advertising the "best chow mein in Alhambra." It may have been the worst I ever had...dry and tasteless.

This is one of my favorite noodle shop. It's where I always go when I needed my comfort food. This used to be the Kim Chuy. I was worried the quality of noodle wouldn't be the same. When I went and the saw owner lady, I was relieved. They just did a partnership with Ho Kee. The noodle side still the same people running it. I'm a huge fan of clear noodle soup. This place has the best and full of flavor. I love to top it with their green chili vinegar. The owner lady is very personal. I don't go often but often enough she remembers how I like my noodle. I'l don't eat a lot of BBQ food item so I can't speak for it but my husband likes it.

When you walk in to the restaurant, it looks a bit on the smaller side, but the food is very good. Besides noodles, we've also ordered 白灼豬腰 and 炸大腸. Delicious! The waitress Jenny was very nice and friendly to us. My family and I enjoyed our time eating here and will come back again! I definitely recommend this place to anyone who likes Chinese soup noodle!
