I'm from Guangzhou. This is the most authentic place I have ever been. Not most authentic in US but also most authentic when I'm still in China but out of my home time. Me and the friend who introduced me here are literally almost crying when tasting the food that sent us right back home. I have been there three days in a row since discovered it. I have never been so impressed by a restaurant.

Incredibly clean and authentic Cantonese food. You can tell that they use good quality ingredients. Love it and will definitely be back.

Pork rib stinks… even it affects the noodle to be stinky. Everything is plain.

Went here with family - came from Oregon, great service, very friendly and clean. Very similar to the real Kaiping food 11/10

On the last day of our trip, we stumbled upon this family-run little restaurant. I was extremely satisfied with every dish the owner recommended to us—absolutely delicious! My only complaint is that it’s over six hours’ drive from where I live! Five stars, highly recommended!

Good taste
This unassuming place where the unfortunate golden mile bowling closed is a gem. The crystals dumplings were small and delicious and packed full of flavor. The stir fried pork offal with ginger and scallions was very tender and a large portion. The mixture of vegetables and the pork was very generous. My friend ordered the KP town bbq pork rice and soup which the soup was very homely and soothing while the pork rice itself was very flavorful.
The staff was very attentive and the lemon iced tea was great! Not too sugary and they even gave us refills!
Parking is easy and the place is easy to get into. The store is a tad bit cold with their AC but their decor and demeanor is very friendly!

Recommended dishes: KP Town Crystal Dumplings
KP Town might be the first authentic Kaiping 開平 cuisine spot in the San Gabriel Valley, and it’s worth checking out for some unique dishes you won’t find elsewhere. Their KP Town Crystal Dumplings, Pan-Fried Tofu with Minced Fish, and Savory Tang Yuan are flavorful and delicious. They also serve tasty Cantonese-style dishes like congee, noodles, and stir-fried options with fresh ingredients and its not too salty. The steamed rice combos that come with soup are a good healthy option.
This small mom-and-pop restaurant has super friendly staff who give great recommendations. Prices are reasonable, but portions are smaller compared to other HK cafe Cantonese style places in the area. While it’s perfect for trying Kaiping cuisine and comforting Cantonese dishes, it’s not the best choice if you’re looking for Cantonese food alone, as there are other places nearby with better value for your money. Deducting one start for the price to portion ratio.
Quick tips: Plenty of parking is available in the back, shared with other restaurants in the plaza.

Another new open Chinese restaurant in area but glad is not another very spicy restaurant next to bowl alley. Many available parking. Owners are very friendly.
Place is small but many tables and clean. Paper togo menu with many dishes that I could decide quickly.
I ordered 1 appetizer, 1 main dish and 1 soup for 2 people. Foods portion is decent.
Stired fry tofu with mince fish and pepper with mince fish. Little spice of white pepper. It's pretty good , but make sure to eat with sauce
Pork stomach with chicken and white pepper soup. Pork stomach doesnt have any smell and soft. It's big pot that we couldn't finished. We like this soup very much. It's still good for next day but add noodles.
Chicken claypot take longer to cook than I thought but worth for wait. It's have deep flavor and chicken is tender. Chicken come with bones, so watch out.
Later, I noticed there not much veggies. I ordered stired fry lettuce with garlic. This is also good.
After tried all dishes and overall is goods I decide order foods togo. Another pork stomach chicken soup, stream pork rib (pork is so tender and flavor just right) and clear dumplings (its kind sweet and seem like peanut mix meat, but not sure. Please ask if you allergic to nut)

Food is pretty good. They claim it's Kaiping style dishes. I can neither confirm or deny that, but my cousin said it tastes similar. Service is great, my one gripe is that their #17, which is their house special stir fry noodles, was made with instant noodles. That isn't very appetizing for a dish that costs 15 dollars. Otherwise, everything else was great; the congee, the soup, the fried squid balls. The fried chicken wings were the highlight of the meal, super crispy, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. Some of the best wings I ever had.
