just went here with my mom for menudo, The menudo is obviously canned menido from the market and also they just warm up cold frozen tortillas from the store and serve them to you. it was 20$ for a can coke and the menudo. A lazy menudo that was, this is definitely not an authentic mexican food place, also place was dead not a single soul. No music no nothing a very quiet place.

Sad to say I requested something to eat. That was not exactly what it was whether it was free or not. I asked for chilaquilas and she gave me basically nachos with red sauce and cut up onions. I was so sad because I was trying to test her food and it turned out to be not what I expected and I painted Christmas on their windows. Oh well it was free

This is just disrespectful to Mexican food We ordered some "enchiladas " They were stale and cold as well as the taco dorado. On top of that expensive ! Don't waste your money !

My wife and I went Alhambra to out this Mexican restaurant called Lupitas Mexican restaurant it been in the same location for many years. The restaurant is close door neighbor to Vittoria Pizza restaurant another good restaurant,we were very curious about Lupitas we know they Mexican food how good is it we went there to try it out. The restaurant is small but very decorated items from Mexico decorated the restaurant. We were looking the menu at the menu display above the counter. We were ready to order my wife order the chicken enchiladas with rice bean and I order the caldo de res or beef stew.The owner offer us chips and salsa the chips were pretty good nice and warm and salsa was pretty good. Then she brought our meal to the table. My wife chicken enchiladas looks very tempting good also my caldo de res or beef stew looks good. The beef stew was amazing good great flavor in the stew there was plenty of meat and vegetables that this meal hearty. The meat was tender little tough but I enjoy my wife enjoy her chicken enchiladas it great flavors in the meal. Overall we enjoyed the meal at Lupitas Mexican restaurant in Alhambra the owner was really nice it feel like in her home and made a home meal.
Disappointed with the Al Pastor burrito, it’s mostly made with rice , beans and no AlPastor on the burrito. You can say it’s 100% rice burrito not like the burritos at any Mexican food place. I don’t recommend this place.

Lina is the sweetest ever, a lot of small businesses are struggling right now and the entitlement of the 1 star ratings bleeds through the phone. My sister and I come here all the time and the food is made quickly, and with love. You can tell that Lina puts love and soul into the food. Most Mexican places use cheap old meat and old products, you can taste the freshness in these meals. Please continue to support this location and if you have a bad experience, take it up with management. Don't be a Karen and go to yelp. Thank you Lina! This place is garbage. When someone is struggling to walk bc they need to use the restroom, you let them use the restroom. I hope this place goes out of business. Seriously almost peed on your floor.

This is the worst mexican place i have ever had,ordered a asada burrito to go and got bean and rice and nothing else 17.00 bucks to the trash my only meal of the day and got jacked so pissed off!!! First time there and for sure never again! No stars for this place.
