Their premium items are definitely worth it. Very fresh tasting cuts of fish. Place can get busy but the staff do their best to accommodate everyone in a timely manner.

Mikomi is a great place to visit with family or friends. It’s chill, the food is great and the ambiance is welcoming. Ask for Victor the bartender! He makes some amazing/ creative drinks!

The food is pretty good, but the wait time is awfully long. It takes about 45 minutes waiting for your food on a rush hour and 25 minutes normally. Wait time is not coordinated and the place is loud.

Great sushi! Excellent service. Every one from the Sushi chefs to the waiters were very attentive and courteous. Sushi chef, prepared my 2 special rolls in record time and the preparation was deliciously impeccable.

Nice place for meeting after work. Sushi / sashimi was very good. I enjoyed the toro / tuna belly flight.

Last minute pick for a business dinner, and my colleagues weren't disappointed. The rolls were good, but the sashimi was amazing. One colleague said the best she's ever had, and I'd place it among my top 3. Their fish is on point, so is their service. Spaced out tables let's you really soak in the atmosphere and enjoy your table's conversation. Visit this area pretty frequently and will definitely be back. Thank you!!

This sushi restaurant deserves every bit of five stars. The fish was unbelievably fresh, the flavors were clean and perfectly balanced, and every dish was beautifully presented. The service was fast, friendly, and attentive without ever feeling rushed. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and perfect for anything from a casual dinner to a special night out.

Every bite was amazing — truly some of the best sushi I’ve had. I will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend! 🍣✨

Yall — why is it so dirty in there at 4 pm on a Friday? 😭 our table was sticky, the menu looked mauled with food bits in the middle, and there was a strange liquid just poured in the middle of one of the toilet stalls in the women’s restroom. Also, unless you’re visiting during their happy hour — the supreme/waygu/uni selections are absolutely not worth the price.

On a positive note, our server Nathan was on top of it — super attentive. Clarified our order, quick with drinks, and food came out promptly and correct. He even offered water before we left since we were drinking alcohol. The sushi was very decent as always.

Overall, we like going there and still will but they say the condition of the bathroom matches the kitchen and that’s a huuuuuuge red flag for a raw fish focused establishment. I hope they can improve on that since they continue to boast new management.

We had Sushi for lunch at Mikomi Sushi Alhambra last weekend. It's located on Garfield Avenue (cross street of Main Street, inside the Sprouts and Burlington Plaza). It was difficult to find parking on the weekend. This Mikomi Sushi Alhambra is independently owned under new ownership. It had so many people waiting outside, but you can check in on Yelp for the waitlist when you get there, or check in with their iPad. We were seated in about 10 minutes, and we beat the crowd. The ambiance was cool, but it's definitely not like a traditional Japanese restaurant, and they played loud music as well. They advertise on the outside of the store and on the menu that they have Happy Hour for everything 30% off every day until 5 p.m. (Dine-in only). (Only at the Alhambra location, it's not related to other Mikomi Sushi locations.) We ordered a Sushi Omakase with 9 pcs of Chef's choice sushi & a handroll ($36.99 standard/$54.99 premium), a Washington Roll ($16.99), a baked Crawfish roll ($17.99) and a 2-item bento box with Chicken Teriyaki and Shrimp Tempura (5 pcs) served with rice & salad ($23.99), and a side order of California cut rolls ($8.99). We liked all our orders, and they used fresh ingredients. My hubby liked his Sushi Omakase, and they were very fresh and delicious. The chef made a good choice. The Baked Crawfish roll was very delicious with crabmeat, avocado inside with baked crawfish, green onion, masago, and eel sauce outside. The Washington roll was similar to the California Roll but with fresh Salmon outside on the roll. They charged a bit more for the 2-item bento box, but the portion size was good. Shrimp Tempura was crunchy and had fresh shrimp inside, and even the salad was good. It was a great deal with the 30% discount for paying about $100 out the door for what we ordered. We will go back there soon!

The food quality is excellent !!
fish pieces are thick and fresh.
With the 30% off, the prices are quite reasonable.

There were five of us, and we ordered a big family sushi rolls platter,
which lets you choose four types of rolls.

Their chirashi don and unagi don are both great value,
and the service was also wonderful.

Happy Hour: everything is 30% off!
Available every day before 5 PM.
Just note — they seat you only after your whole party arrives.

I came in a pair casually. I literally picked this place randomly and really enjoyed. The sushi wasn’t really really cold like some places are. It exceeded my expectations. The sushi was very refreshing and flavorful. Our server, Nathan, was also inviting, nice, and pretty chill.

It was a mixed bag tonight. What started with great customer service, did not end well. After we paid our tab, we ordered a California roll to go - they never put the order in and we waited for a while. We then changed the order to a yellowtail delight roll (which we had ordered earlier), had to wait again, only to find out they duplicated the order when it came time to pay. No apologies, they took the roll away to give us the one order, but we discovered it was a spicy yellowtail versus the yellowtail delight (incorrect order). No apologies, no attempt to rectify the situation - we had no choice, but to walk out.
