Ordered Ginger Scallion HK Grouper and Crisp and Salty Trotter. Turned out the grouper had only leftover scraps and fins that tasted fishy. Trotter was not freshly roasted; had to have undergone secondary heating.
Lodged complaint with management. The answer was that customers have to bear with random divisions. Did not pursue the matter and left without tips.
Realizing there was no tip, the receptionist had the guts running out and catching us up for tips. We explained, and were sure he knew the reason. Astonishingly, he argued that the kitchen and management were two separate entities. There was no fault on the part of management. Hence management deserved tips. The audacity and sickness!

We found a cockroach in the dish, so the waiter just refunded us the money for that one dish. But do you still have an appetite for the rest? 🤢

Food quality is good. Price is just right for a family style eatery when all others raised theirs. Noisy !

My wife and I popped in MJ Valley Restaurant on. Weekday for lunch, a popular Chinese restaurant with a curious name and a long line to match. Their lunch specials are incredibly affordable, with over 100 dishes under $13. My personal favorite is the fried whole fish — crispy on the outside, tender on the inside — and the stir-fried string beans with minced pork, a comforting classic done right.
The wait was about 30 minutes, and while service was fast, it wasn’t especially friendly — pretty typical of many traditional Chinese spots. This location has changed hands several times, but hopefully, this version will last. It’s not a huge place, but it seats about 100 and delivers great value for the price. A satisfying reminder that even in a simple meal, there’s grace to be found.

The food prices are great here, but the service is horrible. We asked for to go boxes. Instead of giving them to us, they gestured to the wall. They didn't even look at us. We asked for help to take pictures, when 2 workers told us they didn't have time for that. The food was OK. The mapo tofu had this spicy sour taste.

The beef in szechuan spicy was ok. It did not seem spicy, but it was ok. They do not have drink options here. Only water and soda☹️. I got a Sprite and a water with ice drink here.

A popular restaurant that is very close to the people! But that manager is arrogant! Cry your face! It seems that the diners owe him money! We should fire him! Diners lose their appetite when they look at his serving face!

My first time and definitely my last time. I'm a Mexican. We came in we wanted to sit in the middle but the gentleman didn't let us.
He sat us in the back corner table, we waited 32 minutes for them to come and take our order. Mind you this place is empty 11 tables empty out 17 tables
He was rude to my dad whose English is rough.
After we placed our order they just slammed the my starter soup and rice on our table.
What a disrespectful place, just because we are a different race.
Was so humiliated by the way I was treated.
Honestly the food was delicious but the service was questionable
My dad joked and said you forgot about us, his remark made me upset, we were not forgotten we were ignored
And when it was time to pay they treated us like if we weren't going to pay.
Oh I wasn't allowed to take my left overs 😂 he said it belonged to the restaurant. When I saw people leaving with their leftovers😂😂
The cherry on top they forced my dad to leave a tip when we had to deal with discrimination

The lunch specials come with rice & soup and the portions are pretty huge for being a lunch special. The quality is decent and good. There is plenty of parking as well.

Food was okay 2 out of 5 stars for me. I decided to come back 2nd time trying other dishes and it was WORST. The food came out not as The picture, we asked and they said they were out of that item. Didn't they suppose to let us know before we ordered instead of substitued stuff that we Didn't want? The clams are dead, and smelly so we told thêm. They did nothing, not even sorry. We paid but Didn't eat that dish. Then came The french style beef, it Didn't taste or smell like beef. It has a weird texture that I had ever experienced my whole life. Sea Cucumber was too salty. Omg, I would never come back.
