I particularly dislike the service staff here. Halfway through our meal, they asked us to move to another table. Because there were more people coming to eat, we needed to sit next to each other. I have never encountered such a situation!

This place is a delicious, all you can eat hot pot store. The only issues are that the waiters only come over when you call for them, you are charged for anything leftover per plate for 6$ each, and soup base change is 1$. There are many drink options at this store and there are free refills for fountain drinks. There is also ice cream for $1.50 and appetizers like spring rolls, fries, and sesame balls (the appetizers were free and unlimited). At night, there is a wait time to come in. Also, they play K-pop in the background music. Overall, this store is very good and I would recommend it.

Vegetarian options: There is a section with lots of vegetarian friendly options. The options were fresh and healthy, too.

Being a big fan of shabu shabu, we decided to give this restaurant a try. When compared to a competing shabu shabu restaurant in Alhambra, this restaurant is not nearly as good. The meats were very good, and were served quickly. That's definitely the strongest attribute of the restaurant. I got the miso broth which was very bland, watery, and had a slight fishy flavor. My friends got the house broth which was equally bland and watery. We had to mix several sauces from the buffet bar to give the meats some kick. Many similar restaurants have fried chicken but this place did not. Ice cream and drinks are an additional charge.Overall, this is not a bad restaurant, but when a nearby competing restaurant has thicker, more flavorful broths, a more diverse buffet bar, fried chicken, drink included, and a soft serve ice cream machine for roughly the same price, Shabuya isn't worth it.

Solid AYCE shabu shabu spot in Alhambra. I think the floors can be cleaner, but it could just be that they are really old. At the time of my visit, it was raining outside, and they had buckets here and there to catch water dripping from the ceiling..They get crowded for dinner. I had to wait for a table on a week night. I only had three people in my party. There is plenty of parking because the parking lot is huge! It's near Big 5 and Top Island, but it's closer to the market and behind Starbucks. Each person has an individual pot and stove. You choose the soup base. You have the option to choose two soup bases, but what is weird is they will combine the two soups together! Had I known that, I would have just gotten one. I don't prefer to drink a mixed soup, but I guess it all goes down into the same place anyway. You order the meat from the server, 3-4 plates at a time. I think the meat was good. All the veggies, sauces, rice, and other ingredients are at the self-serve bars in the back. There are two rows, so there is a large variety!

My first time, and I enjoyed it, the price a bit high, so it might be a while before I come back, but soon...I like the choices,
