Went to Alhambra tonight for yakitori. The service was terrible. The waitress was rude and careless. The other table who came later got water and we have to ask twice. The first dish was wrong and it seems like she doesn’t feel any sorry. I can’t believe this is a Japanese restaurant. Left zero tip as my response to this waitress at the end but still feel mad at this moment.

Shin-Sen-Gumi offers a casual atmosphere with great food, making it perfect for a date night or a family dinner. They serve delicious ramen and skewers at reasonable prices. The staff is polite and courteous, providing excellent service with a friendly energy. Customers can enjoy watching movies on a huge projection screen while dining. Many families visit, especially on weekends when it gets busy, but weekday evenings can be quieter. The yakitori is noted for being perfectly cooked when not crowded, and the pork cutlet curry rice is very good with crispy cutlets and juicy pork. Some diners have mentioned that portion sizes could be larger. The restaurant also serves ramen again, which is well-received. The open floor plan provides lots of space, and the patio is likely enjoyable at night. The atmosphere is friendly and lively, often making guests drink more beer than usual because of the nice vibe. The staff is very friendly and attentive, always checking if customers need anything. The food, including chicken and meat skewers, Mexican corn, and potato, is delicious. Overall, Shin-Sen-Gumi remains a welcoming place with good food and a pleasant ambiance, especially enjoyed during quieter weekday evenings.
