This place is great for their layer cake but I have decided not to go anymore because of their attitude when it comes to their loyalty program. The rules switch around and if they do not want to stick to the printed rules then don’t even offer a loyalty stamp card program.

The owner is rather engaged and alert, trying to tend to all patrons’ needs and monitoring new staff to address customers properly. There is no pressure for a tip and the fussiness involved. Sure, appreciative patrons still could leave friendly gestures or pay it forward.

Friendly bakery selling cakes, buns, pastries, and more. The staff here were very friendly and helpful and helped us select a cute taro cake to take home. The cake was delicious, not too sweet and tasted very fresh. Would come back here again and would recommend this bakery!

Found out about Simply Splendid Bakery from my sister (thank you Lupe!) and I couldn't be more pleased about it. Stopping by Simply Splendid Bakery every time I am in the area is a must. They offer a wide selection of breads and they do not disappoint. My favorite are the pumpkin bread, croissant and pizza.The bread is always fresh and they do run out fast.Next time you are in the area, visit Simply Splendid, you won't regret it!

Best Hong Kong Style Bakery in SoCal. I have been a fan of 85C for the longest time but slowly realized that they have no variety at all. Everything from 85C are just cookie cutter now. Simply Splendid Bakery offers so much more and most importantly, they have a variety of savory and sweet buns and are generous on the filling. My favorite is the tuna fish bun and Wife cake (老婆餅). Oh and their Ice lemon tea and hong kong style milk tea are legit!!!!!!! So authentic!!!!!You have to try it.

Visited the Rowland Heights store today which opened just 2 weeks ago!Great bread, not so sweet cake, and good Hong Kong style Ceylon Drip Tea!We love the BBQ pork bun, cocktail bun, hot dog bun, egg tarts, and the napoleon cake!!! A plus is that their cakes are not overly sweet! Bought a lot to take home.
