Sunday, February 2nd. 2025. Ordered mobile 12:15, arrived 12:35. App said it was done, asked lady working, told I have to wait, lots of orders. Saw a customer angry coming in and leaving several time and complaining why his sub was still not done. Food received 12:55.
Not mad at the employee for not having it done as she is the only employee working for some reason. I have read other reviews of the mexican lady yelling and it made them feel unwelcomed. Though she isn’t up to standard of American Customer service, she was rude, just direct and loud to make sure you hear her. She also did tell people to order online to save some money.
TLDR; manager needs to hire more staff.

Not friendly place restroom dirty

Normally, I don’t have complaints about this place…granted…the food is ok,..this past Thursday (09/05), I had an issue with the service. Around 5:30 pm, I entered the place on Valley Blvd in Alhambra, two gentlemen were been waited on and a lady with three children were waiting for their order.
I’ve had an issues with the server , a Hispanic lady with poor social skills and not very good English. She had messed up my orders in the past. It has got to the point, that if I see her behind the counter, I want to turn around and leave. I should have taken my own advice.
I ordered two sandwiches, a six inch, ham and pepper jack cheese on white, not to be toasted and and foot long turkey and pepper jack cheese on Italian, to be toasted. As I was getting my chips and drinks, a sandwich was being toasted…the six inch..I told her that she put the wrong sandwich in…she gave an attitude…which she’s done a more than one occasion. I told her to forget the order and was putting back the drinks and chips. In broken English, she said to me “You no come back” and that I wasted food. Didn’t she had the power to ban people.
Getting back to the lady with the three kids, I heard that she ordered meatball sandwiches…but the meatballs weren’t ready and to come back in 10 minutes…she did and was told that they still weren’t ready…the lady asked for her money and was told that she didn’t no how to refund and that she would make something else.
Her kids wanted meatballs, she said that she would wait.I don’t know that was settled because I was leaving.
This lady is the exception to the type of service that I have received in the past. I come there, maybe every other week.
If I ever come back…I will try to make sure that she is not the one making the food.

Jun 29, 2024 at 6:30pm I arrived at subway alhambra location 1020 E valley boulevard, when I arrived With my husband we were told they didn’t have salads. I said “before you had” he said “ we have I plate and you can have your sandwich in the plate”, I said ok, but he gave me less that have of the plate, like if I was ordering a half of 6 inch on a plate with 4 half way empty spoons of tuna, he did not want to put more because he said it was going to hard to close the lid which wasn’t true because the plate was less that half way down, service was the worst, I asked if they had churros and the lady said no because they were frozen, I said but you don’t given frozen. I can make them. I said give me 3, when I went out of that store I promise I would never be back, the salad wasn’t good the cueros were still cold and wet inside, hard to eat. People were not welcoming and had a long face I understand they were tired but they need to offer good service I rather prefer a machine taking the order and serving fair portions.
I came to this subway from far away because 6 years ago I had the best service and the best tuna salad with good portions and finely cut the vegetables by hand. This time I got completely disappointed and I swear I will never come back. I hope this review help you to avoid a bad experience.

Terrible customer service and employees were extremely rude. I tried ordering two sandwiches, but the customer before me had an argument with the female employee and thus, the employee was in a bad mood. When it was my turn to order, I stated my request clearly, but the female employee kept telling me to repeat myself. I had no problem with that, but when I asked the female employee to tell and show me the different types of cheeses, she would not. I did not know what cheese she was giving me, and she simply gave me a random type of cheese without explaining to me what it was. Additionally, I asked for beef steak, and the lady gave me less than a spoon full of it. At other locations, the employees would give me a whole spoonful of meat, and sometimes even more, but the lady at this location gave me less than one spoonful, and kept insisting she gave me enough. Throughout the whole process she gave me an attitude and overall terrible customer service, so I asked for the manager. Supposedly, the manager was the other woman sitting in the back on her phone. I complained to the manager about the attitude, and all she told me was, “And? What can I do about it?” She also told me if I didn’t like their service, I should never go back to their location. I have never been treated like this at other Subway locations. Every location is friendly and cooperative while this location is absolute hostile and unwelcoming. This location was also extremely dirty. Overall, I highly discourage everyone from going to this location. There are definitely other locations that are much better and treat you better.

Very very rude, we wanted to get sandwiches but I needed to use the bathroom. The worker yelled and said hey there are no public restrooms. My husband said even for customers. He said no you need to go somewhere else. So we left.
I have been going to this subway various times and overall the service has been great until tonight. I stood waiting while the employee took his sweet time putting away crackers and eating as he was in his lunch break. He finally turn around and asked me what I wanted. I gave him a detail list of the subs I wanted and guess what he still asked me what type of bread I wanted when clearly it was noted on the list. He first gave me the wrong tripe of bread. Second he gave the leftover chicken which was the last of tray while he went back and got a new tray of chicken and didn’t even took the time to add some to my sub. Never got bacon with my chicken and never told me they were out. Or offered a replacement for my bacon. This employee clearly didn’t care or understood the meaning of customer service. If he truly hates working he should just quit. Wasted my time and money on my worse experience in this Subway
