Don't be fooled by the residual signage outside. As of 4/1/2019 (unconfirmed date) this is no longer Tasty Garden. It is now Mr. Yuet. Food doesn't taste like Cantonese HK Style cafe food (no wok-hay) even if the menu remains similar. Waitresses speak Mandarin to each other and some do not even understand Canto.
Just have to say I stopped in for lunch. This dish of Walnuts and huge sea shrimps in a honey glaze sauce was worth the time and money. Good selections of a Hong Kong style meal for under $20.00 bucks with tip.
Definitely not a place to take a date as the interior is dull and old except for the beautiful red goldfish swimming in the tank but if it's good food your seeking, this is the place. This is a chain restaurant and this location is the second one I tried and both are excellent (Irvine). Give it a try and you'll be happy that you did
