Decided to try some take out here and weren't disappointed. Got won ton noodles and beef chow fun and both were really good and reasonably priced. Service as efficient. Hole in the wall feel inside but we'll definitely do take out again here.

Food is bland. Small portions. Worst is the service. Waiter hardly came to help us. We paid and left a tip on the table and the waiter stopped us on the way out, accusing us of failing to leave a tip. Very rude. I was very upset I already left a tip. Why should I add more tip for bad service?

The 32oz Hong Kong-style lemon tea is a mustāonly $2.50 with unlimited refills, and they even let you take it to go. The menu is extensive, the portions are fair, and they donāt nickel-and-dime you, which is rare these days.
The only downside was a 30-minute wait for takeout once, but the Mapo Tofu was so good it made up for it. Restrooms are a bit rough, but that just adds to the authentic vibe.

The location is close to Main Street and Garfield Ave where it is the center of Alhambra area.
This restaurant provides both authentic Chinese local food or typical American dish. U wonāt go wrong to dine in this place. Because many elder Chinese already know this place, donāt get surprised if u see many elder Chinese dine with you.
The food is good but the waiters canāt really speak English well so you need to point at what you want and make sure they really know what youāre ordering

Very unsatisfactory experience, I waited 50 minutes for a plate of fried rice noodles, and the waiter didn't help me to urge me after half an hour after taking my order. It was not until I kept asking that he helped me to check with the kitchen, and told me that they made a mistake in the order, and then wasted 50 minutes of my time for this meal. It's outrageous and irresponsible.

Just a heads-up: this isnāt authentic Hong Kong-style Cantonese food, but more like northeastern Chinese-style cooking š„¢.
For example, the tomato and egg dish š š„ was a simple northern-style versionāmostly scrambled eggs with just a couple of tomato pieces (can see photo).
The beef with scallions and onions š„©š§ had a slightly sour flavor, which might not be for everyone.
