Best Cantonese food with Western dishes also available, as served in many Cafe style restaurants around.
Their lemmon iced tea is the best. Only Tasty Garden before had a similar lemmon iced tea, and that's why I love it here(my favorite drink)

I ordered a salt and pepper combo, and found two small feathers in the fried shell. I called the person in charge, a middle-aged white-haired lady with glasses, to look at it. She insisted that it wasn't true, and took it away before I even took a photo. She said it was squid. The hair, ?As shown in the picture, can I still recognize it? Although I returned the dish, she said it was squid hair? ! ! Do squids have hair? ? No matter how thin the squid tentacles are, there won’t be traces of brown hairs on each root! And I have almost finished eating. I don’t know if I have eaten anything else when I wasn’t paying attention. The hygiene problem is worrying. I won’t come here again.

2024/10/12. Ordered delivery. The steak was ordered medium rare. It tastes well-done (and a little tough), see picture 2. The meal pictured here costs $34.67 (tip $5). On the delivery platform, drinks will be delivered for orders over $20. I also noted Free drink -less ice in the remarks column of the order. However, the Uber driver told me that there was no drink and asked me to ask the store. I called to ask what was going on. The store said I had no choice. I said that your beverage app showed that all of them were charged separately. I didn’t see any free beverages to choose from, so I made a special note in the remarks column. I asked him to open the Uber APP and watch it by himself immediately, but he said he didn’t have an Uber APP to watch it. Let me see for myself. I said if there is any problem, I also have a note in the notes column, why didn't I call. He said they were too busy. Then I asked for a manager, and he said he was Manager Li. He said they were busy and couldn't handle it. Let me find an Uber myself. The restaurant manager hung up on me. I contacted Uber customer service and it was handled quickly (no more than 3 minutes) and $2 was refunded. But I want to eat and drink, so I don’t need $2. Set me back almost $35. Find your own fault.

The business lunch special is a great deal at $13.99, including soup and a drink. I tried the BBQ rice and the beef tofu rice, both of which were acceptable. However, I would have preferred a bit more vegetables and less rice to balance the meal. I forgot to take a picture of the dishes.

Sometimes the 3-star ratings in SGV are the best ones. U2 actually has good service and good food. They're located on the corner of Valley Blvd and Vega. When you exit New Ave from the 10, head north.
They have an odd parking situation as the entrance is around the corner. There's plenty of parking though. They have a lot of space inside for seating. At the time of my visit recently, they were decorated and very U2-themed. There is a fun "I love U2" sign near the bathrooms.
I got the baked bolognese, and it was good!
I recommend getting the lunch deals here. You can add a drink for only $2.25 and the coffee/teas have free refills! Their happy hour is 3-5 PM every day, including weekends.
Servers mostly speak Cantonese but English/Mandarin are good too.
Something to note is they are so close to the daycare center. There's kids screaming to be heard all the time.

Fantastic food. Great service. San Gabriel Valley's hidden gem. They have the BBQ side and the Cafe side. The Cafe side has Hong Kong Cafe style food. Usually a dish eaten by one person. The BBQ side has more traditional dishes that are meant to be shared by a family, or eaten family style. Everything is shared and passed equally.
Vegetarian options: They have dishes like Stir fried Vegetables in fermented bean curd sauce or Black Mushrooms and Chinese Broccoli with oyster sauce.
Parking: They have their own parking lot. It's in a nice neighborhood, so residential parking is also close by.

Last day in the area, this was my third HK style restaurant.
Best so far. Food was good and service was great. I hope I tried this place first and I would have come here everyday.

I have to endorse this place again, been here for breakfast a few times lately and become a regular. Time and again, the food is hot, made to order, and neatly presented. There’s ample parking and seating options as well. Keep up the great work, management!
