Such a lovely hidden halal gem in Alhambra. It was a delight visit this restaurant and experience wonderful friendly atmosphere with spicy and delicious cuisine. The lamb skewers, fried chicken and shrimp has burst of spice and flavor which was truly enjoyable. Look forward to visiting again and trying more dishes they have to offer. Such a great experience!

We were craving Indonesian food last night and decided to try this restaurant in Alhambra. It was later in the evening so it was empty inside. We were told by our server that it was much busier during lunch. Undeterred, we entered the dining room looking forward to our dinner. The menu has a broad range of choices. We went with the nasi bungkus and the ayam kremes. They ran a couple of specials which we took advantage of, including the tasty and free soup. The food was flavorful and spicy. We also ordered an es teler, which really helped calm down the spice. I will note that the fried chicken in the ayam kremes was a bit dry to our liking. Otherwise, everything was fine. Note that they add 3% if use credit card, but do offer Zelle for those of us who don't

Really good level of spiciness. By far, this Indonesian restaurant is one of the ones that offer the actual Indonesian spiciness. Not only that, they have very flavorful food and is definitely worth the try!

It's amazing that I've been to LA several times, but this time I tried this restaurant, the service was good, and very understanding, I will come back to eat here again.??

We've been by this place a few times and didn't realize there's an Indonesian restaurant right next door. The sign isn't that big outside, or it's not visible enough for people to see when driving. We tried a few different Indonesian dishes. Some were really good, and some weren't.
Lamb satay is really good. It's super juicy and tender with sweet soy sauce and chili. The second best dish was mee goreng - it's like a fried egg noodles with vegetables and you can choose from chicken, beef, or shrimp. The third one is stinky bean with shrimp. It's really tasty with spicy sauce.
The place is super clean, and the food is cooked right when you order it. We ordered Nasi kuning with some chicken and rendang, but the chicken wasn't that great. It just had a bit of crunchiness on top. Right now, they're giving out free lemonade and 15% off, and on weekends, they're giving out free sweet and sour soup.
Overall, the place and the waitress are pretty good, but they do charge a fee for using a credit card. So, make sure you bring some cash with you to avoid that fee. I'd really appreciate it if they could let us know ahead of time if there is a card fee when using it. We'll definitely be back for different dishes next time.

4 stars since the parking was street parking in a busy road and only for an hour… otherwise, service was good and authentic Indonesian food. The kangkong was so spicy, i suggest asking for milder version if unable to tolerate. It’s authentic taste and full of flavor. The salted fried rice was tasty. The es cendol lacked jackfruit though. They offered 15% discount for that promo month. If only the place is near to me, I would definitely come often but it’s in LA unfortunately. Bonus- only Halal Indonesian food I have found so far in SoCal

Driving all the way from north to the south using i5, and decided to take a break somewhere at Alhambra and found Indonesian cuisine.
Got a try lamb satay and fried singkong, it’s so good,
Wanna try all the menu, but I am too much full.
The only thing my concern is to find where to park, is only road side parking available and it’s limited to 1-2 hours. I’m not from Alhambra, so I don’t know around. If anyone know around let us know where to park near by.

The owner was sooo nice that whenever is was free in the kitchen she was meet her customers and connect with them, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Definitely recommend and will come here on a regular basis?
