I came here for a first date and thought it could've been a nice place. Overall, the place was okay to good, definitely not great. - I was greeted by the hostess. She was nice but could've been better. I had requested for a corner table (hoping it would be quieter for talking) but she immediately said all the corners and end tables were "reserved." But I had reserved for a corner table, she didn't even acknowledge that fact. - Food - we ordered the duck, dan dan campanelle, sugar snap peas, and meiju tofu. The snap peas was the best dish by a far margin. All of the other dishes were ehhhh...Not great but edible. - Noise level was quite loud, the tables are close together. - Overall, the place was a good experience, over priced, with nothing memorable. I might go back to this place to eat a snack if I'm in the neighborhood but would not seek to go back to the place.
Food is amazing! We tried their meiji tofu “caprese salad”, the fish collars, the mussels, and their smoked fish. Everything was tasty and shareable. The restaurant is small (reminiscent of an NYC place) cozy and romantic - Perfect for date nights. Dont miss out!
The food was great. We had ordered quite a few dishes like the burrata, cold crab noodle, Hainan fish, and the curry mussels. I feel like the Hainan Fish was a standout. I will say some of the items felt rich like the noodles.
I expected the portion to be bigger for the price, although the steak and salmon were cooked well. The servers kept coming by to clear our plates even though there was still food left. Maybe it was because people were waiting outside, but it happened way too many times for such a short meal. Honestly, I think you can find the same level of taste at other brunch spots with more reasonable prices

Every piece of the wings were unde cooked with some blood. It should be family style, in our case it is not enough to share. But I do see a lot of table pack their left over.
Had high expectations for the restaurant after seeing many positive reviews. I had an okay experience with the brunch menu and wanted to see if the dinner menu experience would be better since there were so many rave reviews. I think conceptually, the dishes and ingredients are exciting, but all the flavors together fall short. A lot of the execution lacked restaurant finesse, and all the dishes felt like there was an element missing and weren't quite ready to be on a menu. It's as if I was experimenting in my own home kitchen. Nothing was bad in itself, but nothing was extraordinary or worth coming back for. Service was super quick for our first few dishes as the restaurant was relatively empty, but the pace slowed a bit after it got busier. Also not a big deal, but the somm forgot a refill of a beverage; we didn't care enough to say anything, and we didn't get charged for the refill. Ordered: - Cold Crab Noodles - Potatoes - Chicken Wings - Grilled Collars - Summer Scallops - Dan Dan Campanelle - Elaine's Purin
Very creative. Attentive staff.

The service and atmosphere is great. But when they used the word Asian fusion, I knew it is more like “American” Asia food. The food is all pretty bad and way overpriced!
1) the fried chicken $19 for 5 pieces, the chicken were dried and doesn’t have any taste? They have some salt and lemon aside but it is pretty much bland without it.
2) the fish collar, was undercook the server are nice enough to asked if we like it redone but we are almost done so we didn’t have them redo it. They removed it from the bill. It was not too flavorful as well…
3) the fish with hanian chicken rice. Recreate from the famous hanian chicken, the rice is pretty good and pretty authentic. But the fish…. I’m not sure how to describe it. It is again, tasteless and dried…….
4) duck leg with taro mash. Interesting dish but these two flavor doesn’t taste good together. The duck leg was fried the same way as the fried chicken. The taro mash is fine but is not worth $40.
Overall I would say the service is good and attentive. But I wouldn’t be back for sure. The presentation of food, taste and price point is below average in my standard.

Always inventive and delicious, this place ALWAYS delivers. The flavors will stay with you long after the meal is over. Knowledgable and attentive staff. This is a must go place to wow someone. Can't recommend Yang's Kitchen enough, it's a truly special place.
Excellent!!! The steak, salad and potatoes were the highlight for me. Can't wait to go back.

Brunch spot with thoughtful sourcing and clear flavors. The breakfast sandwich is deceptively simple and delicious. Coffee is dialed in and served in nice ceramics. Staff treats you like a regular even on your first visit. Expect a short wait, but it moves quickly

When restaurant filled up, noise was ear shattering and service slowed down a lot. Go early for dinner and enjoy a lovely dinner.
I’ve been here once for dinner and once for brunch. Both times the food was AMAZING and so was the service!
