Love the style, decoration of the restaurant and the fish is always fresh and tastes amazing! Best sushi place around, just wish a little cheaper... went alone for lunch and paid almost $100 ‍ lol

I love Z sushi. Been coming here for years and have never been disappointed. Not sure why they only have 3.5 stars but everything from sushi to the black cod I've liked. If you're on the fence about trying it, don't! I'll be back soon Z!

I live down the street from this place and I always go have their Sushi. It's so fresh and good!! You won't regret it so go try. Today and decided to go grab some dinner from there so I ordered food for pick up, and I forgot my card , so I tired to pay with Apple Pay. Unfortunately it wasn't working, so one of their employees told me to just go home and call them to give them my card number which was honestly so nice of them. Just when I thought they couldn't get any nicer a lady by the name Leah paid for my tab and was just so kindhearted. I'm not sure if she was the manager there.. but she made my night. Literally my favorite sushi spot. I'll definitely be going more often and I hope to run into Leah so I can return the favor. God bless them.

Great food, clean and service is wonderful. I do miss their combo dinners as their menu has changed. But overall, 5 stars. My favorites are any of their teriyaki dishes, tempura, chirashi bowl, and the fresh sashimi/sushi.

All I can say is Bingo!!! Love this place. The inside looks cool but have not dined inside since we only order to go. But man'o'man some of the best sushi in Alhambra. Dragon roll is fearce, quality is there at a very good price. The staff is accommodating and friendly. Highly recommend this place~ they have a cute little outdoor patio as well and will be hitting that soon~ enjoy!

I've witnessed an alarming trend over the past few years: Americans are becoming increasingly obsessed with sushi. And I call b******** My hypothesis is that not many people legitimately like sushi, but lots of people think that they should like sushi. I dont eat sushi, but I do eat all the cooked Japanese dishes. The difference between an ordinary plated lunch and a bento is the one-box presentation. Most bento are meant to be a single complete meal for one person. Serving sizes at Z Sushi and food selections are worth a visit. My typical Japanese meal consists of a bowl of rice, a bowl of miso soup, , pickled vegetables, and grilled or fried meat. Z Sushi provided me with all neatly presented and in portions that left me satisfied. The tempura alone is worth a visist! Find your way to Z Sushi, and enjoy all.the foods beyond sushi.

It's good authentic food. A little wait after you place your order. Mask required at first. Dine in, lighting is low. It's nice.

Small portions and expensive. Service is bad too. Prices are expensive for fish quality you get. Will not come back

11.12.2o21 It's crazy how this restaurant has been around and I've passed by everyday going to work, yet had never eaten here. After seeing someone posted it on SGV, my husband and I decided to come here for our date night. Since it was our first time and we always tended to order more than what we can eat, we tried our best to control ourselves for once. We ordered two deluxe chirashi bowl and one mixed tempura to share, plus two hot tea. The chirashi bowl didn't look too big but we were so full we could hardly finish the everything. Ok, not everything, I couldn't finish all the rice and I felt so bad. :( The food were good. Service was attentive. A little bit too attentive as we had three different servers checking on us before we ordered, after we ordered, and tried to take our orders. Hahaha We plan to try the omakase the next time we visit. Funny side story, it was my niece's birthday the next day and my husband wanted to get her a pen. Which we planned to go to Target after dinner. Then when we got our bill, it came with a pretty looking pen to sign. It's a simple pen with a giant "diamond" on the top. As we were heading out, my husband asked if we can buy one from them. One of the staffs told us it's sold on Amazon but we only needed one and it's for the next day. So another staff went to check the in the back and they did have a few available for us to choose from. A few dollar well spent and that saved us a trip to Target. That was very very nice of them!

Got our daughter the crispy chicken kids meal and wow the meal was amazing for the price. Chicken, veggies, salad , sweet potato fries, and 3 rice balls for 9.00!!! Anyways stop by and have some yummy food it won't disappoint

Easy to miss but a good spot for some sush! My friends and I got the sushi plate for dinner and it was a good size to fill us just right. The fish was fresh and tasted nice. I also liked that they have an outside dining option. Definitely worth a try!
