Aliso Coffee has quickly become one of my favorite places. The food is fantastic, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and it truly feels like a home away from home.

Tommy is one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. He brings such positive energy every time you walk through the door and genuinely makes everyone feel welcome. You can tell he cares about people, and that’s something you don’t come across very often. They’re also Detroit Lions fans, which makes the place even more fun for fellow sports lovers.

I have a feeling Tommy is going to be very successful one day. The positivity, work ethic, and natural ability he has to connect with people are qualities you just can’t teach.

If you’re looking for great coffee and even better people, I can’t recommend Aliso Coffee enough. It’s a local business that truly deserves the support.

I always hate leaving anything less than a glowing review, especially when the staff genuinely wins you over and this crew absolutely did. Everyone was warm, welcoming, and made the visit feel worthwhile from the moment I walked in. The ambiance is cozy and charming, exactly the kind of place you’d want to spend a slow morning.

That said, I have to be honest about what brought me here: the Apple Fritter. After seeing it all over TikTok and Instagram, the hype was sky-high — and unfortunately, the reality didn’t quite live up to it. The quality fell short of what I was expecting based on all the buzz, which left me a little disappointed.

Still, I’m not writing this place off. The personality of the staff and the welcoming atmosphere alone make it worth a return visit. I genuinely believe there’s something great here, and I want to give it a fair shot by exploring more of the menu.

3 stars for now — but I’m rooting for this place and fully plan to come back. I’ll update my review once I do! 🍩

Worst attitude ever! Especially to a lady who was trying to get some donuts for her disabled husband. Yelled at my wife who was WALKING her scooter into the store! Instead of asking her politely to leave it outside. Obviously this guy is single and needs better customer service skills! Will NEVER go back here ever again!!! And I will report this incident to the A.D.A. (Americans with Disabilities Act)

Worst apple fritter I ever had. When I mentioned it the owner called me a liar. Noone calls me a liar and keeps me as a customer. I was not trying to get a free fritter. I was just letting g him know that the fritter I had was burnt and hard. I was there to give him another chance and he calls me a liar.

We love this place! It's a family business and all the team members are so welcoming and remember their customers. We adore them. The portions are generous, the breakfast burrito is a must have. Lots of donut options as well. Fair pricing too. Five stars always!

Aliso Coffee & Donut is a solid neighborhood spot with some of the friendliest staff around. The employees are super helpful and genuinely kind every visit. Pro tip: get there before 10 AM or the donuts will be gone. Four stars and worth every early morning trip.

After trying Aliso Coffee and Donuts a few months ago, my son has requested we visit every Saturday after his sports games. Every Saturday. This place never fails when it comes to service, great food, kindness and fast turnaround. All staff have been helpful and positive with every interaction. My son is greeted by Tommy and Jake as soon as we enter, as is everyone else, with a warm smile and conversation. Good people with good hearts 💕☀️🍩

The best donuts in OC. Classic donuts that remind me of being a kid and quality is super fresh. But the best part is the team behind the counter- seriously the nicest, friendliest, and most personable guys that make you feel appreciated 🤝

Wife and I came here for first time after seeing the reviews and we are glad we did. The staff was extremely friendly smiley and made us feel like family. The food was top notch and portions made us full . Great bang for your buck. Lots of goodies to choose from . While we were there waiting for our food . We noticed one of the employees car was hit by someone in the parking lot and our heart goes out to that female employee. We hope everything is ok . We will be back soon for great service and food

April 11-26. Just left Aliso coffee and doughnuts. Visiting from Utah, best doughnuts if ever had. If you are a local I'm sure you already know; if you are Visiting from out of town you need to try this place. Great customer service, and the doungnuts! Holy crap!
