Finally tried this place and was really impressed. The vibe and aesthetic inside are awesome. The staff was friendly and the food was great. The quality and portion you get is well worth the price, and I highly recommend giving it a try!

Vegetarian options: My wife got their garden burger, which she really enjoyed!

Parking: Parking is pretty good in the shopping center. There is also a drive-thru.

Definitely great Chipotle Avocado Burger. Temperature outside is 67 degrees and even with the fans on its quite warm inside. Probably because the huge front windows face the sun.

Not a lot of burger places in Alpine. Don’t go McDonald’s, don’t go to Carls . Come here, around the same price and way better taste

Cant say enough how good their burgers and shakes are. They trully are good i prefer this to any fast food! everytime we go its because it makes us feel like we are eating home cooked food. fries are delicious and the shakes are awesome. only one size but really good. price is ok but worth the price. they are pretty fast everytime we go through the drive through. not to sure how the walk in is.update: had to remove two stars from my review. I went today and instead of getting my usual.... i decided.... i would try something new! (mistake) I figured i would get the sourdough melt. with those carmelized onions and that patty melt with that melted cheese on crispy sourdough bread (round on display) and when I get home...... i got two white pieces of toast with the patty melt, melted cheese and carmelized onions.. the biggest dissapointment was the bread! white toast!?!! white toast?!?! and it looked like cheap wonderbread!! ahhhhhhh!!! sorry FREDS! but I am dissapointed! I took two stars.

I was really on the fence here .. I loved the food the service was pretty good .. I actually got a free refill and the fries were very tasty .. I thought it was a bit overpriced.

Kid-friendliness: There were kids there and the staff treated them well.

Parking: Plenty of parking available and a drive-thru

Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap accessible for sure

First time here and we really enjoyed it. Burger was really delicious. The Philly cheese was good but the cheese over powered the flavor of the meat. Staff was friendly and professional. We will be returning in the future

Food was good service was great, just forgot my bacon on my half. On lunch so can't drive back and called and phone number seems busy or doesn't work.

I got the cheapest basic cheeseburger with lettuce and tomato. It was $5.79. Tastes like a homemade burger!!! Not fancy but fresh ingredients, thick flavorful patty! My son saidthe corndog was the best he has ever had

Enjoyed a freshly made kiddy burger combo with fresh lettuce, tomato and onion for under six bucks! (The adult combos were way too big for me!) The freshly made vanilla, chocolate or strawberry shakes were out of this world! The fifties and sixties memorabilia and tunes playing made the experience very memorable. It felt like I went back on time!

Food was good. I would recommend easy on sauces. Go light on grilled onions and sauces on burgers. Burgers are good and don't need a lot of help

Over a week ago we went to Fred's Old Fashioned Burger. I had a quarter pound Burger with bacon and my husband had the same but larger one. Came with delicious fries and a drink. It was great and very quick. Service is always friendly.

Wife and I have been taking the drive up to Alpine to eat at Fred's for years now. Sadly since they've reopened under new(er) management recently the staff seems.. a bit rough around the edges and menu less diverse. Also twice now I've called before taking the 45 minute drive up the hill and was told the dining room would be open only to get up there to find it locked with a sign that says drive thru only. Doubt we will be eating here in the future.
