Welcome to the wonders of the real French bakery. Real size (giant) French croissants that are fabulous. Baguettes that are light years ahead of what we call baguettes in the USA. The French white bread, excellent of course, is known as the "traditional" bread in France. My favorite flavor combo is almond and pear and I have been chasing a pear almond pastry I had about 25 years ago in San Diego. I recently started working in Alpine and had heard many people talk about CroBean so I was early one day and decided to give it a try. When I saw the pear almond croissant in the case I didn't need to look any further. I selected that and their Mexican mocha. Both were excellent. Friendly service and delicious treats. I was the first customer on Thanksgiving and was just hoping to get a cup of coffee and a pastry for the drive. I was greeted with such a warm welcome and everything looked so good, I left with a whole box of goodies. They were a hit at Thanksgiving and I will definitely be back!
