It was very good until the fires happened. Hopefully everything will return to normal and much better.

I thought the guy in a previous review might have been exaggerating when he said it took a minute for the person taking orders to even acknowledge him, but I like to patronize very local businesses and I went in this morning. The guy at the counter was watching a program on his phone, never even looked up. I stood there for a full two minutes before turning around and walking out. He never moved his gaze from his phone. No joke.
To be a "hole in the wall" restaurant, to me, is better than a Michelin Star. Michelin Star restaurants take you on a trip. Places like Lucy's feels like Home.

It's very close to me, I really like the food and Don Juan is very kind to his customers.

I went in on a Sunday, with my family. I walk in and it took a couple minutes for the server/host/cashier to acknowledge me (she had her back turned). When she did turn around to look at me (uninterested) I waived at her and no reaction. Then a few minutes later, when she finally acknowledged me, service was less than mediocre. We ordered a Cheese burger with fries, 3 chicken tacos, a fried chicken sandwich on sourdough. Then we sat, food came out rather promptly, maybe because there was nobody else in there besides us?
Anyway the chicken tacos... the chicken was literally the chicken taken out of a caldo de pollo (chicken soup) and put into tortillas, I kid you not! The burger with fries was decent at most. The fried chicken sandwich on sourdough...the chicken itself was slimy and smelled rotten!! It was super greasy and to the point if like being over fried to mask the fact that the chicken was bad. I even took a small piece of the chicken itself and tasted it and yes it was rotten. My wife tasted a tiny bit and confirmed it was rotten. My daughter just smelled it and didn't care to taste it (It smelled really bad). I immediately returned it, and explained to the chef kindly that it was rotten. He offered to make me anything else. At this time I had lost my appetite and told him no thank you! He didn't even apologize and threw it into a garbage can right in front of me. He had no manners, and no remorse for selling food that can potentially make anyone at the least sick. This is my experience, hopefully this helps you, I am definitely not coming back and will tell my friends and family to watch out as well.

Place was a bit dingy and they gave us a grilled chicken sandwich instead of a fried chicken sandwich like we ordered. The hamburger was pretty good but had a hint of the taste that it had a week before it needed to be thrown out.

Delicious burgers, they grill the bun a little bit to make it nice and crispy. Good sauce on the burger, and they are always juicy! I like the owner/chef.

It's fire coming back again
Well priced tasty food
I have not been here for over 10 years. Huge roaches and they got my order wrong.I was next door at the new Robot Coffee shop gor lunch.
The breakfast food is good but they could freshen up the inside to make it more appealing.
Opens late and closes early.
