They need to update their hours. I came here looking to order a cake for a party because it said it was open at 9. However when I arrived, the hours said they are open at 12pm. I love their cakes so I was a little disappointed that they weren't open.

What an absolute gem this shop is. We had our wedding cake made by Pastries by Nancy & oh boy it did not disappoint. When we had to go try cakes from different vendors, all we could talk about was the cakes from this shop. The owner was also very helpful & knowledgeable about the cakes & what could & wouldn’t work. I remember being most excited to have cake at the wedding more than the other parts of the wedding! We love their cake so much we are going to come back for a slice every year on our anniversary.

Came here for our wedding cake. We scheduled a cake tasting appointment, the options were delicious and the presentation of the tasting was very cute and romantic. The owner personally went over the design options and explained everything in detail even provided recommendations. I am very pleased with the outcome (flowers and ribbon not included). If you want quality and simplicity with a personal and professional touch I highly recommend this bakery.

I have had the chocolate-chocolate-chocolate cake here a couple times. I ordered one for my mom's 60th and one for myself. I wish there was a thicker layer of chocolate ganache, but that's all right, still delicious. Good quality cake, good mousse and tasty ganache. My kind of cake. If I were to have a wedding reception with cake, I would get one if these, they make good looking, elegant cake. I wish that their website was up so you could see all the options, but at least you can call on the phone and order.

They were on the preferred vendors list for a wedding cake for Altadena town and country club. We went to do a cake testing and the Bavarian creme and white cake was so delicious! The owner was very nice and accommodating. He made sure the cake was design to what I wanted and was flexible to delivered to the cake to venue with a short notice on time change. Thank you!

I got a cake from Nancy's for my mom's birthday. It was chocolate cake with chocolate ganache and filling. It was delicious. It was huge too, but worth it. My mom enjoyed it. I asked that they put on a design of circles, inspired by Wasily Kandinsky. Eh, it didn't turn out so well, but that's ok. The hand lettered piping wasn't the best either, but it was legible. Still, it was delicious, and I'd like to celebrate other occasions with a cake from Nancy's.

Tried this place for the first time today. Had a mini Bavarian cake and brownie delivered for an anniversary. The brownie was ehh, but I'm here to review the cake. Only HALF a cake arrived, old and stale. The other half? A random red velvet (which I hate, in general). It's like they took the leftovers of everything and threw it in a box. How they could take a customer's money in good faith is beyond me. Don't do it.
