Great pizza, wonderful staff! Food was ready for pick up on time and delicious, especially love the crust! Online order was a breeze and they have a lot of online specials. Great first try. Will definitely be going back. Highly recommend it!

I won't go back but it wasn't the worst pizza ever. Definitely don't get the "thick crust" it was all I could taste which is a shame because it just treated like flour and their cheese game seemed solid. Do your self a favor and skip the "salad" as well unless you really like iceberg lettuce a few tomatoes and a handful of black olives.

I love Pizza Joe's !!! I hadn't been in about 4 or 5 yrs , I use to go with my younger son , when he 14 or 15 yrs old. But went tonite. I forgot to tell them , please don't burn the cheese. Otherwise it was yum and it didn't have as much cheese as they use to put on the pizza like in the past ( but next time I will remember to remind them )

Been wanting to try their pizza for a while. Tonight ordered a 14 inch 3 topping pizza online for the very first time. Pizza was delivered within the time frame promised, but there were four (4) issues: 1) It's not 14 inches, it's barely 13 inches in a 15 inch box.....2) The delivery guy knocked on the door, but left the pizza box on the front steps that would have been subject to ant invasion.......3) Pizza needed more pizza sauce; it was a bit dry........4) Last but not least, the pizza was barely warm. Pizza itself was good. In case you want to order, you have the option to pick it up versus paying the $7.65 delivery fee at this time (just so you know). I would have given it 4 stars but the above 4 issues knocked it down to 3 stars.
Pizza Joe's is family run, and my son loves their pizza. Always consistently good! Definitely give it a try! Altadena gem!

Delicious Mom and Pop Pizza pies created with love. They even have an interesting Eastern European sausage called soujouk which is kind of spicy and almost taste like escargot in sausage form. That's probably not how you spell it and that's probably a poor description for it but try it and you may understand. Get to know the owners and you'll be rewarded with kind smiles and gratitude!

Pizza Joe's is awesome. It's no frills. It's just about the pizza. I lived in NYC for 20 years and also spent 12 summers in Italy, so I know pizza. Pizza Joe's is not authentic, wood-fired-oven, Italian, or even Brooklyn pizza. But it's SO GOOD! Anyone who knows pizza knows it's about the dough (EXCELLENT!), the sauce (VERY GOOD!), and the love (THEY ARE GOOD PEOPLE!). It's a neighborhood joint, so you have to pick it up yourself. They don't do delivery. I strongly suggest you support this restaurant. For God's sake, choose Pizza Joe's over Domino's, Pizza Hut, Papa John's, etc!!!
