i got Murphys Green and it was quite good. thin crust was nice and had the perfect amount of chew/weight in the crust for my taste. pesto was tasty and a good balance, i think less toppings are okay since the crust is so thin. i ate the whole pie by myself oopsworkers were very sweet, everything was very clean. a little expensive but i was very impressed with the speed and taste ?

So a couple things about this place. The pizzas are pretty expensive for what you get. Super thin pizza, and sparse toppings.I'm sure the flavor would have been great if the pizza wasn't so BURNT. That's all we could really taste. The employees were super friendly and the vibes were fun. Felt like a backyard BBQ.The DJ was a nice touch.I just don't think it's a good sign when your guests talk about other places they want to eat while they're eating your food.

They no longer have my favorite pizza there and not a fan of the picnic table style patio.

Grade B+ (87) For taste, the pizza was good but you basically eat it standing, it's meant for you to take out home. Nothing to stop the presses about though.

Not only was the pizza insanely overpriced, but it was also burnt and barely edible. Absolutely terrible.

Service was nice, fast. Sauce was well balanced, not overly acidic. I got two pizzas, both were pretty burnt. One was pretty much solid black on the bottom. The crust is very flat so while eating, everything tasted burnt no matter what. I would recommend one pizza per person given how thin the crust is. I was disappointed as this place is on some lists for best pizza in LA area.

The pizza is special. They really got the Naples thing down. I hope they get their wine and beer license back. Enjoi !
The pies are great! We always order 2 pies and always one of them is Honey’s Hammered and one other pie. It has like the name says honey on it which brings the pie together with the other toppings of ham, mozzarella and cream! All of there pies are excellent! Great outdoor dinning area and vibes if you are dining there!

Side Pie in Altadena, Los Angeles CA, is a pizza haven that's well worth every penny. While it may come with a higher price tag, the quality and experience make it a fantastic treat. The pizza here is nothing short of great. Each slice is a mouthwatering delight, tasty crust and the unique flavors justify the cost. Whether you're a pizza connoisseur or just looking for a memorable meal, Side Pie delivers. What sets Side Pie apart is their Dead Head pizza oven - a real showstopper! The outdoor dining area is a cool. Nestled under the open sky, it's the perfect setting to enjoy your meal. The ambiance is relaxed and inviting, making it a great spot for casual meals and hanging with your friends. While the prices may be a bit higher compared to your average pizzeria, the quality, unique experience, and outdoor setting make Side Pie well worth it. If you're a pizza enthusiast or simply looking for a memorable dining experience, don't miss out on this Altadena gem!

This is not traditional pizza, it's Neapolitan thin-crust pizza, maybe more expensive than you expect and the toppings are light, but it's exactly how it's supposed to be. If you appreciate the style you'll appreciate this. If you expect a traditional American pizza you might be disappointed. Online and phone ordering seems not to work particularly well, we went and ordered in person and got it fast and easy. Not exactly a convenient or traditional experience, but it hits the spot if you know what you're getting into.

Great pizza! A bit over-priced IMO though. $24 for the Altadena Special, which was very good! But I was definitely a bit hungry after.. would have gotten one pizza each if I had known the toppings were a little sparse. Right now seating is all outside, picnic tables etc.
