“Okay we were looking for a drive in you would expect in a small ranch down like this but mostly Mexican restaurants. We stopped at a kinda weird looking gas station with a little grill on the side. Ordered just a cheeseburger no mayo and we added ketchup and mustard. It was delicious ! I cut it four ways, the picture is only of one quarter that we all fought over. Fresh onion, lettuce, tomato and yummy pickles. The gals who made were extremely friendly nice assortment of gas station chips candy, pretty much everything even pregnancy tests. Bathrooms clean ..If you want a yummy burger give it a try it was delicious!“
“Wow, six bucks a gallon for gas, I never thought I'd love to see that day. Stupid Oregon drivers. In Oregon, there are signs when you pass a town that say next gas "200 miles" or some such thing, but in Cali, you better have a crystal ball, because no no one is looking out for you, and not only that, they are counting on you to be in such dire need that you will head in the opposite direction of your destination to come here just for gas. So that's exactly what we did. Sure, we stopped for lunch in Klamath falls (more like Klamath fails) but since we had over a quarter tank we figured we would have plenty of opportunities to stop for fuel before we get to cali. Nope.“

“The building is old, but the food is new. Actually, the pizza was delicious and plentiful. You can have wine, beer, soda, coffee, tea, and more. The wait staff are attentive and efficient. When you sit down here comes the garlic cheese bread. And they keep coming until your meal arrives. If ever you're in Alturas, swing by and say hello over some food.“
