The food was tasty. It came out hot and properly seasoned -just like I’d asked.
Path from parking lot to front door can be updated with more obvious and visible markings (painted cross walk and arrows).

2.5 stars — if I’m being generous
Chicken Guy! in American Canyon has so much potential — the food is genuinely good when it’s done right. But sadly, that’s a big when.
After giving them several chances (and a good chunk of my money), the inconsistency is just too hard to ignore.
• Drive-thru? Randomly closed.
• Out of chicken? Yep — they ran out of CHICKEN… and still kept taking online orders.
• Wrong sauces? Almost every time. I’ve received Caesar instead of garlic Parmesan, teriyaki instead of BBQ — it’s always something.
The only time my order came out perfect was when I ate inside and could tell a manager or owner was actively overseeing everything. The difference in service was night and day.
Look, I really wanted to be a regular. But it shouldn’t feel like I’m playing roulette every time I place an order. Until the consistency improves, I’m taking a break.
It's very clean and well ran.
We waited to try this place after the crowds slowed down. Our food had great flavor and was definitely different than other chicken spots. My only mild complaints were when the coke went out. Instead of changing the syrup they told us to pick something else. I also wanted to change my cheese to American and not add an extra slice but they charged me 50 cent more. That did not make sense but the lady stated that was policy. We will be back though.
Food was amazing. I had just finished watching his series about this. I live in Sacramento and was in Vallejo and had to stop buy. Guy, you need to put one in Sacramento please!!!!

I don’t know who “Chicken Guy” thinks he is, but he should be ashamed of this place.
First off, the workers? Miserable. Like genuinely mad that you dared to walk in and order food. Zero friendliness, zero effort — just cold stares and attitude. One of them literally slammed my tray down like I ruined their day. Sorry for existing, I guess?
Then there’s the food. Overpriced doesn’t even begin to cover it. I paid way too much for a tiny portion of dry, flavorless chicken that tasted like it came out of a gas station microwave. The fries were soggy, the sauces were forgettable, and everything felt like it had been sitting out since lunch… yesterday.
$15 for a combo meal that felt like punishment? No thanks. I’ve had better meals at a middle school cafeteria.
Bottom line: Chicken Guy is all hype, no heart. Terrible service, trash food, and insane prices. Never again.
Let me stop by saying I don't go inside. Always the drive-through. Up till now, McDonald's had me convinced that the chicken sandwich in the fast food genre is not possible. This place has me once again ordering chicken sandwiches. My dog loves the shakes as do I. I am on this train to flavor town. All aboard!
Great and and amazing food
Was a great time in flavortown! I love chicken guy and guy fieri!
Friendly staff, Greta chicken and fries as well as sauces!
