Abuelita’s Birria & Mexican Food

Would rate with zero stars if I could.
Food was terrible - birria should have flavor (no flavor in the meat or consume here).
Guacamole should have fresh avacado - this tasted like it was processed at a plant and came from a plastic container from the grocery store. Absolute waste of hard earned money.

I would not recommend.

….. I ordered Menudo from this place…. Most expensive non flavored soup with barely any meat I’ve ever spent. I never been so disappointed or felt so scammed that I had to take some time out of my day just to write this review.

Cheesy shrimp tacos

The shrimp were way....to salty. People think when you cook shrimp it's just so easy, just steam and go or saute and go. You still need to season with garlic,some scallions, onion powder something and you have to go light on the salt. Seafood already has a natural salt, and cheese is salty, you have to be very careful when combining the two. I was so disappointed, the beans were stiff, NO TASTE, very little cheese that was just sitting there on top, not melted and I mean VERY LITTLE CHEESE. Spanish rice was dry and just there. I had to request a refund.

I ordered from this restaurant through GrubHub and was surprised at the quality despite all the negative reviews.. however I had checked them after I ordered and when it came I was pleasantly surprised at the quantity and quality of each dish. I ordered the birria tacos and the carne asada fries. The salsa was perfect the beans were great, and the tacos were loaded with meat. Being from Southern California myself, I got to say this definitely ranks up there with some of the best I've ever had

Terrible!! Terrible! Stay away. Ordered mild and they gave me something so hot it was like a habanero enchilada sauce. My lips and tongue were on fire after one bite. I walked back in within five minutes of getting my order and taking one bite and let them know it was obviously done wrong because my receipt clearly states mild and they refused to do anything about it. Saying I ordered mild/spicy. Ok that’s polar opposites. My receipt says one word MILD and guess what…. Habanero Inferno fire spicy would also not fall into the category of mild/spicy you fools.

I have been ordering Birria tacos for 1 yr now and they are the best. The food tastes like a home made meal , the albondigas soup tastes exactly like I’ve had in Guanajuato with a little hint of mint. I recommend this ghost kitchen to people I know will enjoy and appreciate good Mexican food.

I never had anything so disgusting in my life. The tortilla was like playdo. They forgot the sauce and special instructions. Food arrived dry. I definitely was scammed, wasted my money at 4am. Ew.

Ordered cheesy only quesadillas because I’m vegetarian. They have the option for no meat just cheese so I picked that, but yet they decided to add meat anywaysRuined my night. My friend who’s no vegetarian ordered her and said her food was garbage anyways yall should be ashamedDon’t order from here
