Food was alright. The portion size was good, I felt full finishing the meal. Price was higher than all the other Ethiopian restaurants I’ve been to.

First time trying Ethiopian food, and the experience was great! They recommended trying lamb and I was hesitant because I've had lamb before but it wasn't good. Knocked it out of the park, it was so flavorful! Staff does a great job at making you feel like you're welcome. Very chill environment, light music, soft lights. Can't wait to come back to try the Zil Zil Tibs.

I really liked this little hole in the wall restaurant. The owner was extremely nice and friendly, and definitely takes pride in his food. He was very thoughtful and we had a great experience. The food was delicious and felt very healthy. Felt like taking a bite of a home I haven't gotten to go to yet. Definitely a great experience. It was my second time having Ethiopian food and my boyfriends first and we both loved it. Definitely a great choice. 💜

I am a longtime lover of Ethiopian food and was used to going to LA for my cravings. I went to Abyssinia probably a decade ago and just lost track of it with COVID and the like.

I finally convinced my daughter to go with me and it was absolutely fantastic. Our waiter (the owner's son) was very nice and explained Ethiopian food to her, while I just counted the time until our Dora Wat and Gored Gored came. We also had the veggie combo.

Apparently the new owners took over nine years ago and it was AWESOME. Better than what I had in LA, better than what I had in DC.

I had a great talk with the waiter and their mission was for more people to try Ethiopian food, and I agree with him!

Abyssinia is a must try! My daughter has the bug now, and we will be back.

We've been here several times. Love it. Great place to introduce people to a new experience. The food is completely normal meat and veggies, just served on platter with injera (sponge bread/pancake). Eat with your hands. It's just different. Enjoy!

I have never eaten here before, but I came across a video on Instagram where a man came in who didn’t have enough money to buy food and they blessed him with food to eat. Great acts of kindness!! God bless

I've been to many Ethiopian restaurants here and in other states, and this one ranks high on my list! I live in LA and it's worth the drive down to OC although there are like 10 Ethiopian restaurants much closer to me!

The food is the best Ethiopian food in Orange County. The family who owns and runs the restaurant is welcoming and gracious. I had my husband’s birthday dinner there and everyone enjoyed the food.
