Took our 7 year old goddaughter to Disney for a long weekend by herself with godparents and hotel worked out perfectly. Her first time overnight away from home and 6 siblings. Warm welcome, even gave her stickers at front desk for her autograph book. And when they learned that she was spending her own money for her daily chocolate cupcake fix, they just gave it to her. Room with 2 QN beds spacious. Local restaurant recommendations from front desk spot on and figured out a new trick to keep everyone happy -- head to the pool and have dinner delivered. Less hassle to get everyone out of the pool, dressed, walk to dinner and reverse process for tired bodies and feet; just meet delivery person in lobby and discretely have dinner poolside. Could have used more consistent supply of pool towels; first night no towels, last night lots. She made lots of new girlfriends in the pool and it was fun to watch them compare rides, etc. Short walk to Disney parking lot shuttle. Breakfast buffet in morning could be more varied and fresh made (everything is premade, kitchen just warms it and puts it out. We watched the SYSCO truck delivery and even the hard boiled eggs are premade) but everything is tasty (where are the utensils?) we happen to be there for pancakes instead of waffles one day; sit outside if you can. The only thing that was irritating is that we had scheduled a late checkout and had one more load to take out of room and room key stopped working on the dot; had to go to front desk to get room key rekeyed for 5 more minutes so we could get the rest of our stuff loaded. Independent shuttle to LAX on-time and convenient. Would definitely come back.
Went to Disneyland with the family, we love staying at Hyatt Place. This is our 5th or 6th time staying for multiple days, and we love it! We won't choose any other hotel when visiting Anaheim. Staff is friendly and so welcoming!
Very disappointing accommodations. Wifi was never strong enough to allow my tablet to work, so I had to burn data time on my phone to be connected. No movie channels. No "quiet rooms" available with a single king, because they're all on the top floor next to the constant hum of machinery on the roof. Ice machine is very noisy and the room has no door to cover access from the hallway. Staff was VERY pleasant with us, but not very on top of their duties with other guests that had difficulty registering. We watched in horror as a family of six was turned away at the end of a day at the park, because of some miscommunication with other family members that made the reservation. They were unable to provide an answer as to why their wifi wouldn't provide enough boost to operate devices in their hotel. The complimentary breakfast was not what we expected. Really awful looking buffet style that looked like McDonald's. We weren't expecting a grand dining affair, but this didn't feel like they even tried. It was gross. EW! There is no "food selection" really...items are out most of the time, and the items offered are simple bar food kind of items that are quickly reheated for consumption, and really shouldn't be counted as room service or prepared food. Our experience felt like Hyatt patrons are taken for granted because of the popularity of Anaheim, and that Hyatt has met bare minimum standards only so that they appear to offer quality accommodations....but upon further inspections.....gotcha!! There must be better options in this price range. Hyatt is usually a reliable standard for us, so this was pretty disappointing.
This was our second time staying at this location and it once again did not disappoint. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Rooms were clean and spacious. Breakfast offered each morning offered a great selection and was delicious!
This was such a great stay! The staff was welcoming & surprised me with a lovely birthday basket at the start of my staff. Breakfast was average but lots of options. Rooms were great. I LOVED the bed!
We enjoyed our stay here, Great Location, close to Disneyland Resort. Excellent Customer Service and environment. The breakfast was very good and the bar open until midnight have good drink options, also a draft beer from Fullerton brewery and good appetizers like cheese platters. We definitely will come back to this Hyatt Location in the future.
We stayed here a couple days last week. Disneyland is def walking distance, if you don’t want to walk they do offer free shuttle. The staff was really friendly and the hotel was clean. We would def stay here again!
On the first nigh, we found the pillow case smell strange and there were small blood stains on the bed sheets. We tried to phone the front desk to request the new set beddings, but the phone in room has no wire connected. On the second day, we went downstairs to request to change all bed sheets and covers, and the staff was very helpful. The housekeepers need more training to perform their job well.
although the room was quiet, the rest of the hotel was not great. pool was small and next to the parking lot. staff was not helpful. One elevator out of service so getting out the day of check out was tricky.
We have stayed at this hotel many times and we always enjoy our stay. It is centrally located which makes it nice for going to the beach or to an Angel game. Staff are very professional and helpful and always go out of their way to provide great service.
