Such a great place for adults to enjoy some time away from the kid activities that comes along with Disney.

We had a party of two. They told us we could be seated at the high tables by the bar if we wanted. We chose that option. A worker came to inform us that where we were seated, you ordered thru the QR code. She gave us our drinks and someone else handed us our food. We didn’t have anyone come back to check on us after. I wasn’t impressed by the service.
I ordered the pastrami burger and my friend had the chicken sandwich. The burger was good and had tons of meat on it.

Disappointed to take some stars off here as we enjoyed one of our two trips here. The second one however, they opened the restaurant about 10 min late which sounds trivial unless you’ve walked across the park and already sat waiting 15 min. Also, it’s just not something that should happen at a restaurant imo.

Then our server just…forgot the adult entrees. They were ready and waiting when I asked another server who was super helpful but how does one miss that?

Not terrible but uncertain we’d go back.

We ate on the outdoor patio on the second floor, which had a lively sports bar vibe and was pretty loud but still fun. I had the lobster roll, which was fresh and tasty, though it could have been a bit larger since the lobster portion was on the light side. The French fries were crisp and perfectly cooked. Someone at our table ordered the BP Dawg, and I tried a bite and it was delicious. We ordered through the QR code at the table, which was convenient. It was a busy night so drinks took a while, and we had to remind the server about a few that were missing, but overall it was a good experience with great food and energy.

Stopped by Ballast Point in Downtown Disney for lunch after spending the morning at DCA. We were looking forward to grabbing a good meal and a couple of beers before heading back into Disneyland. We ordered wings (which we’d heard were great) and beers through the mobile app on the patio.

When our server brought the drinks, he asked for IDs. I explained that I didn’t bring my wallet into the park and use my mobile wallet for all payments. I showed a picture of my ID, but he said it wasn’t acceptable. For context — I was there with my wife (who had her ID), our two kids, and I’m a bald man with a white beard. Clearly not underage.

What made it worse is that two beers had already been served and our food order was placed — so everything just went to waste. The policy ended up costing not just us as customers, but also the restaurant in lost product and potential repeat business.

I understand verifying age is important, but this is where corporate policy and management discretion should meet common sense. Ballast Point’s corporate team should empower their staff to make judgment calls in obvious cases like this.

I’m a longtime fan of Ballast Point — I’ve been to their Miramar location many times and love Sculpin IPA — but this experience was frustrating and disappointing. Unfortunately, strict and shortsighted policies like this lead to waste, lost revenue, and loyal customers walking away.

I would give zero stars if I could. Do not eat here. The service was slow. The waiter took 20 minutes to take our order and didnt ask if we wanted drinks. I wanted to get tacos and was told they have no tortillas, so I ordered a burger. I wasnt asked how I wanted my burger cooked and it came almost raw. I hope I dont get sick tonight. Look at the size of the tomato that came on my burger. While the rest of my parties burgers were well done. Too bad it was an automatic 20% tip for our large party otherwise I would have tipped nothing.

I came here on a Friday evening and got a sat down at the bar. I had hoped to get a flight but they don't do flights, just 4-ounce pours individually. They had a few I wanted to try but they had run out by that point. That was fine, the place was really cool being able to look out from the second floor window at the people below.

Ballast Point Brewing Anaheim has nice views, good service, and tasty food. The Baja Fish Tacos and Pepperoni Flatbread were delicious, and the beer was refreshing. Convenient location to relax and enjoy time in Downtown Disneyland.

The food and service were fantastic. The bar itself didn't have much ambiance. One TV. Restrooms were a mess with trash and toilet paper scattered about the floor.

I wish I could give it zero stars…

They say they are open until 11pm but in reality when we showed up at 9:30 they said the kitchen was closed.

I would avoid this location if they can’t clearly articulate when they are actually open.

I’ve been to every Ballast Point in Southern California, and this one is THE WORST! The food was overpriced, low-quality, and barely warm. Honestly, it's no better than reheated Panera, but twice the cost. The drink selection was minimal, the room was uncomfortably warm, and the service was nonexistent. We shared one appetizer, ordered a virgin Michelada and one glass of wine, and the bill was well over $50. They enforce a strict 2-hour seating and even remind you about it. We were there for less than 90 minutes total, and it took 20 minutes to get the check. No one ever came by to refill water or check on us after we placed our order. Every other Ballast Point has a seasonal and full food menu, and an attentive staff; this location is nothing like that. Save your time and money; this place is disappointing, and I will never go back to this location again.
