Manager was so rude. A friend complained that we were charged a salad separately although it should’ve been a side item, his comment was “..well I didn’t like you from the beginning”. Not only was that irrelevant, but very rude and uncalled for. Would never dine there again.

Food was absolutely delicious! All the meat was clean and juicy (nothing was dry)! You can taste different flavors and freshness in the food ordered!
Service was excellent! Waitress was very attentive! The owner was nice and his hospitality was to be commended! Even after kitchen closed the staff took care of party of 12 flawlessly. Thank you! 🙏🏽

Baran Mediterranean restaurant and bar is a fantastic place in Anaheim, California. My friend Ryan and Hooman and I visited, and the owner, Mr. Navid, was incredibly welcoming. The restaurant has a chic and modern design with a wonderful ambiance. The food, from what I’ve had so far, is absolutely excellent, and the service is very respectful. I definitely recommend this place, and I’m grateful to Ryan and Hooman for introducing me to it. Compared to other places we’ve tried, this one stands out as the best in terms of atmosphere, food, and management. Many thanks!

We were really disappointed with our experience at Baran Restaurant. The food had no flavor, absolutely no salt or seasoning, and the fish wasn’t marinated at all. When we shared our feedback, Navid didn’t acknowledge it. Instead, he argued with us and insisted that they don’t use salt for health reasons. While we understand wanting to offer healthier options, completely ignoring customer feedback and serving bland food isn’t the solution. The lack of professionalism and taste made this a one-time visit for us. We definitely don't recommend this place.

If you want to eat the true and real Mediterranean food this is the place to go and be. Not only is the food excellent but the customer service is upbeat!! From the owner to the whole staff. Plus it's home made excuisite food. The atmosphere is pleasant, smooth and peaceful. When you enter this place it's like home, it smells so clean. You feel reinvigorated.
I work in the building next to it and I eat there at least twice a week for lunch, I bet diner at night must be greater. Their prices are really good for the great choices on the buffet they have.
I can go on and on about this restaurant.

Came for the lunch buffet. They do a great job of putting out fresh food.

We go to brunch in a Friday noon around 12:30, way before brunch will close( 11:30-2:30) we found no chicken or beef kobideh as they advertised!! Only small amount of salad& little basmati rice!! When ask about the rest of the items they advertise, the horrible manager well at me saying you can order a la cart instead!!!
I asked nicely where is the rest of the items, he said in a very rude way ( we run out) !!
They charge us normal price without any apologies, I got severe vomiting & diarrhea few hours later, I think the salad is leftover from a previous days, I went to ER, I told I have a food poisoning!!!
I never recommend this restaurant to anyone, and if there is Zero Star, I will give this filthy restaurant
