Huge disappointment! The beignets at Mint Julep inside Disneyland are fabulous. These are nothing like them. Way too doughy compared to the ones in Disneyland. Sad that they would make them different just so you have to buy a ticket to go inside Disneyland to get the actual good ones.

The original beignets were so delicious. No line when we arrived about 10am. We ordered the strawberry glazed, glazed and the original. The original came out hot and fresh, so soft when you take your bite. Just a little messy but well worth the mess! Totally recommend getting beignets here then inside Disneyland.

The beignets here are delicious. The regular powdered sugar ones are definitely the way to go. They are light, crispy, and are what I expect from a beignet. We tried all the specialty flavors and weren’t very impressed. They were good and perhaps worth a try, but the greatest satisfaction came from biting into one of the powdered sugar ones. I would prefer to get donuts over the specialty beignets here, the specialty serve as more of a novelty. I will definitely pick up a bag of the powdered sugar beignets during my next extended trip to Disney. I knocked off one star for atmosphere because it just didn’t seem to have the feel of so many other places in the Disney resort area.

This place was busy on a Saturday afternoon. They were yummy treats. I ordered plain beignets with powder sugar. I've never had one before. It was good. I would order again.

Cashier had horrible attitude. Her name tag had name of Maile. Seems like Disney hires just anyone. Filthy floors. Forgot to put powdered sugar on the beignets, no plates, dirty tables. Remodel takes away from the classic Disney feel. Powdered sugar all over the floor outside. Sticky floor inside. The beignets had nothing special about them. Tasted like day old donuts. I felt like i was at some random donut shop but dirtier. The Disney Magic was definitely not there. Disappointing since i been a life long fan of Disney. No photos posted because didn't want to be that mean.

Posted they close at 11pm, but they have someone stop people from entering the lines at 10:50pm…. Be truthful about your closing times so you are not turning people and money away!

They serve freshly made beignets. We got the original New Orleans beignets. They were good.

I am from New Orleans and was skeptical of how these beignets would be, especially after the name (owner??) change at Downtown Disney. My family was all so pleasantly surprised that the beignets were delicious! Felt like a piece of home in OC.
