I believe restaurants of this caliber should place a high value on respecting their guests’ time—especially when reservations are involved. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case during our visit.
We had a reservation for 8:30 PM and our full party arrived at 8:22 PM, yet we were not seated until 9:10 PM. When we asked about the wait, the staff couldn’t provide any clear timeframe. Taking reservations feels meaningless if they aren’t honored or properly managed. What made this more disappointing is that there was no effort to acknowledge the delay—no complimentary drinks or gesture of goodwill, which is usually standard for establishments at this level.
The only reason I didn’t rate this lower is because of Chef Josue. He was incredibly entertaining, lively, and truly elevated the experience once we were finally seated. His performance and energy were the highlight of the evening.
Benihana is known for both its dining experience and hospitality, and I hope future guests won’t have to deal with the same lack of consideration for their time.

Thank you Chef Kevin!!! 10/10
I stopped by for Happy Hour and hung out in the bar and lounge area. The bartender, who was the only one working the entire room, was friendly.
Tried a few items from the Happy Hour menu:
Salmon Avocado – Fresh salmon and avocado, but it lacked any other real flavors. Simple, but not exciting.
Shrimp Crunchy – Very standard.
Gyoza – You get six pieces. It was just okay.
Tokyo Wings Sesame – These were tough and hard to chew.
Vegetable Spring – These were a huge miss. The inside was mushy, and they had zero flavor. Definitely wouldn’t recommend.
Before drinks, HH comes to about $20 per person.
Overall, the experience was just okay. The food didn’t really impress. The full sit down dining experience may be much better.

We had a great experience at Benihana! The service was excellent, and our entire family truly enjoyed the meal. Every dish was full of flavor and very tasty thanks to “Chefsito”. Everyone finished their food, which says a lot. Chefsito puts a lot of love and flavor in his food. Overall, it was a fun and delicious dining experience, and we’d definitely return.
