I’ve been eating here for years several times a week sometimes multiple times in the same day. I love the food. I love the environment and the staff are wonderful. I feel bad waiting this long to give them a review, but here you go thanks for all the wonderful food. I highly recommend Blake’s Place to anyone looking for a good barbecue spot to get some great smoked meats or if you need catering for any event.

I judge BBQ based on the brisket. This brisket is one of the worst I’ve ever had. That said, the ribs and sides were ok so that’s why I’m giving 2 stars instead of just 1.

Consistently good food, dine in and take out are equally good.
Good ambiance. If you are super hungry, it is not the place to go because they cook your food right when you ordered, and because they are so popular, you can be waiting for 20 to 30 minutes. The food was good for the most part. My husband sandwich was great, but the pastrami sandwich I ordered was super salty. I love salt in my food, don't get me wrong, but that sandwich was way too salty. I couldn't finish it.

This brisket and turkey dish was one of the best I’ve ever had. The prices were reasonable. The atmosphere was fantastic, with plenty of space and seating. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and parking was easy to find.
