Service was fair, we were at the New Year's party where all food was included. However most finger foods was sent out via waiters to a room with 100+ guests in trays containing an average of 12 pieces maybe 4 waiters were present, the food was never enough to offer the guests the appetizers would take about 10 mins to make per tray so there was never enough food sent out. The charcuterie table was always empty and the line for the sliders was always long about 10 mins to get a slider which by the way they ran out of bread 2 and a half hours into the event.

The New Years Eve Party at the Top of The V was absolutely amazing. My new wife and I got married earlier in the day and this was the best way to end our first day as husband and wife with some of our friends, having delicious food, drinks, dancing throughout the night and enjoying the Disneyland fireworks at midnight to bring in the new year. The hosts, servers, chefs and bartenders were very attentive, and the DJ provided a great night of music to dance to. I would definitely recommend this event!

This was a complete cash grab if I ever saw one. It was a complete disaster that ruined our new years. We couldn't even comprehend staying to midnight it was soooo bad!! These thieves knew rain was in the forecast and sold more tickets anyway. Cramming everyone inside without tables for everyone, fed us bs meat and cheese slices and prime rib sliders you could have gotten at Vons. We were forced to sit at this makeshift table setup by the kitchen while the super long line of people for the sliders was next to us in our personal space. This wasn't a new year celebration, THIS WAS THEFT!!

Beautiful views and ambiance. The staff was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the food was not that good, but maybe it was because it was an event.

Lovely, elegant dining experience and service in the Top of the V! Very quiet, clean area with an outdoor patio area and view of the city. Exotic food options and unique drinks...will come back again!

Came here for an event and was extremely disappointed in the food. Everything was so bland, I couldn't even take more than a couple bites before giving up. How do you mess up braised short ribs?! Undersalted, zero flavor, zero complexity. Even the bites with sauce on them barely tasted like anything. And the veggie paella had the most unpleasant random assortment of vegetables. Mushrooms were rubbery, there was something I honestly couldn't identify- either okra or baby zucchini but either way zero flavor. It tasted burnt rather than charred and actually I was thankful for that because without that burnt flavor it wouldn't have tasted like anything at all.

The truffle mac and cheese pasta was also extremely bland. The flavors were not balanced at all, it didn't taste like cheese OR like truffle, and the pasta was overdone and too soft.

For dessert there was basque cheesecake which was the only thing I liked even slightly but it could have been a little less sweet. It tasted just as sweet as normal cheesecake but with less cream cheese flavor somehow? At times it tasted like I had a mouthful of whipped cream or even butter. Basque cheesecake should be delicate enough for the caramelization to come through the flavors, this one didn't have that at all and the top stuck together in a skin that reminded me a little too much of when you burn eggs in a pan and it leaves a scrim of egg on the bottom.

The drinks weren't great, either, the house cocktails tasted like something you'd throw together in a pinch with whatever is sitting around the kitchen. And weak, to boot.

The vibe was fine, it's pretty up there and the fires outside are nice but it felt just like every other contemporary, modern-leaning restaurant décor and with the underwhelming food I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I want to believe it was just an off night but every single dish was consistently bad.

The food was amazing and so was the service . The only complaint is that the restaurant was empty but the hostess seated us by the kitchen where all the staff hangs out. We were out on a date so we didn't really care, we still had amazing views but it would have been nice to be away from the kitchen/noise.

We came here for a couples date on Thanksgiving Night and ditched the traditional home cooking option. The restaurant has an amazing view without a doubt. I loved the couch seating on the left, it gives me an at home feel. Every dish I had was fantastic and there were off menu items that were offered. Drinks are delicious. We're going here for date next time.

Ok we are now on our 45th time going here. This time we went for Thanksgiving dinner and took the whole family. This was by far the best experience ever, staff, food and setting were next level. Just when we thought how can it get better. BOOM your team brought it!!!! See you all soon....

I love everything especially the food & service BUT since i've been coming regularly for over a year, your food prices have increased significantly & the quantity of your dishes have decreased.... which is really disappointing... i'm a retired detective & this high increase for less quantity of food is not affordable for me anymore.... Plus the ridiculous amount of private info i need to input for self parking just for the restaurant visit is really ridiculous & INCONVENIENT after spending $300 for a meal... i just want to leave w/ a quick validation like before this new system! I really hope you consider this feedback... otherwise only super rich people can afford this place & maybe thar's your target customers... 💔

I was so impressed with every aspect of my time at this restaurant. From the front desk to the kitchen, everything was uncommon. My partner and I try to explore fine dining and new tastes all over Southern California. We happened to stay at The Viv hotel and decided to give it a try. The front staff was gracious, we happen to be lucky enough to get the best server we have ever had. My lady and I talked about it and both agreed, Pedro was the best server we've ever had at any restaurant(and we've been to the best of the best restaurants). Pedro helped us understand the Spanish style menu and recommended choices of course, but it was his way of making us feel important and almost family like. The food just added to the cool vibe and extravagance. The octopus appetizer and bread with tomato sauce was so fresh and mouth watering. I ordered the coastal array and it was unbelievable! My lady ordered the salmon and she loved it as well. We stayed a few extra minutes to watch the Disneyland fireworks from their 12th floor restaurant. I was so impressed and will definitely come back!

Lovely place for a double date. Excellent view, cocktails, service. Was celebrating the engagement of our friends and our server brought us champagne to start the evening off. We were seated outside by the fire pit and when we got chilly, she brought us blankets. Food was delicious and our server made great recommendations after she asked us some of our preferences. Fantastic evening and will look forward to another opportunity to dine at Top of the V in the near future.

Wife and I came here on a whim for dinner on our honeymoon and we legitimately could not be happier with our choice.
Pedro was our server and he was outstanding in every way. We got four small plates to share and each one was better than the next. Her steak was perfectly done and the house chimichurri sauce was excellent. I got the Ibèrico pork chop and I’ll be dreaming about it for a while.

10/10, no notes - will be back next time we’re in Anaheim.

Menu is inventive and well executed. Service is lovely with nice views. Validated parking in the hotel structure. Nice cocktail menu and wine list.

We four friends started our celebration of our amazing friend Vivian's birthday at The Viv, per her request. We had a truly wonderful time. It was our first time there. The staff was welcoming, kind and polite. We especially enjoyed our charming and efficient server, Pedro. He explained the menu and made suggestions. We only had an appetizer and drinks because we were moving on for dinner and dancing, but we enjoyed our delicious cocktails. We do wish there had been more to the serving, especially since we liked it very much. The atmosphere was kind of dazzling, despite the 5 freeway chugging by just below; the way the place is designed directs the eye to the skyline instead. We are so grateful for our happy memories at The Top of the V.
