Needed an after work spot to grab a drink and this spot was a good pick. Settled under the stairs on the bottom floor of the Anaheim Packing House, this train car bar has a great menu of classic cocktails and house drink specials. It's got a cool, vintage feel to it and the bartenders put a lot of care into each order. There are tables/seating inside, and a few tiny benches in front next to the entrance to sip your drinks at. It was actually quite hard for the group of us to decide what we wanted. Everything looked great. We settled on a Penicillin; a Paper Plane; and a Lost Luggage. Everything was tasty and came out fast enough, considering you're getting hand-crafted cocktails. They've got wine and beer options, as well as a spirits list Free parking if you can find it in the APH lot. If not, street parking or valet for $8.

I think this is my favorite place within the Packing House. I LOVE that it's an old train car and the inside was very comfy. We sat ourselves on the wrap around sofa and just had 2-3 rounds of tasty cocktails. The bartenders were very nice and happy. It was very lowkey. When bartenders are happy, they make happy drinks. This place is a cocktails, wine, and beer kind of place only, but they do it well. For the most part, the drinks are balanced with a spirit edge, which I like. I don't like drinks that are overly sweet, and I had none with the exception of the pina colada. Overall, I would come back.

I really enjoyed my champagne lemonade, the bartender was very friendly and she even offered some suggestions which really helped considering my palate. BXCR nailed with the aesthetic, and will definitely be back to try more of what they have. The inside was very clean and uniquely decorated. There is WIFI inside and seating areas with luggage to use as a little tables.

While in Anaheim last week for a convention, my friend and I stopped in for a quick night cap and it was a great experience. BXCR is located in the historic Anaheim Packing and is an underground cocktail and wine society, authentically outfitted in 1920's vintage railroad boxcar. The bartenders were very welcoming and offered up some great recommendations based on our preferences. I ordered the paper plane and my friend had the penicillin. Both were mixed well and delicious. Would definitely recommend this spot to anyone in town looking for a chill vibe and something a little different. I will be back for sure!

So I am not one to write one of the scathing reviews, but my experience here was wild… We had bartenders who for a lack of a better term seemed quite entitled. They were taking shots behind the bar, and when I asked to change the music, they told us that we could not do that. We were out of town with a bunch of coworkers… and they told us “how nice it must be to be able to drink”… as they were taking shots behind the bar and dismissing their customers. They closed at 10 o’clock when they say 11 PM… and when I asked to speak to the owner… One of them claimed they were, but asked if we were chill? Hey kiddos.. a lot of us have worked in The service industry, so maybe next time don’t be jerks to us…

The drinks are full strength and expertly made. The service is great if you understand that the drinks don't come from a jug. They take their time making every drink perfectly. The atmosphere is cool as heck too.
This is a fun place! I like the location and the band is catchy for a speakeasy! It is something you definitely should check out for the different drinks and it's always fun to go to speakeasy's! The prices are reasonable for how good they are!

Cute little bar in the Anaheim packing house. Most cocktails were $16 and they weren't skimpy on the alcohol. They do not serve food here but you can always grab food from a nearby shop and bring it over. If you're in the area and want a little night cap this is your spot

DAKOTA is the bomb. Super sweet and goes above customer service standards. First time here, and I will definitely will be back because of Dakota. Happen to be there while another couple was there and they were very rude and all they did is complain about everything. There was a person cleaning, which is normal. but this couple found it rude to clean with customers. I COMPLETELY DISAGGRE. Dakota was still engaged in serving and makong site we were ok.
