It makes me sad to leave a one-star review because I used to enjoy coming here. Recently, the food quality seems to have declined, and the shrimp and grits have given me stomach issues more than once. The service also hasn’t felt as energetic as it used to be. The atmosphere is cute, but I’ve noticed it can be a bit dirty at times. I really wanted to give this place another chance, however, I don’t feel comfortable returning if it continues to affect me this way.

Not terrible, not great. Food is ok- definitely on the heavy side and the potatoes tasted like old oil had been used. Customer service wasn’t the greatest either. It seemed like 2 at the front were annoyed and/or didn't want to be there.

Food is good but service sucks so much that I'm not sure it's worth it. 3 Young girls just on their phones the entire time behind the counter instead of checking on customers. Not refilling coffee or offering water. Really amateur customer experience. Huge turn over in tables and we were second on a long list. They took orders not in first come first serve, so we were the last to get our food after waiting already 45 minutes for a table. Such a frustrating experience.

ordered ube waffle the sweetness just right amount, not too sweet, love the fresh strawberries on it. we also ordered chilaquiles i would say just be less salt would be perfect.
the cafe itself tho, need a bit interior improvements, it is outdated.

Absolutely wow. Everything was delicious. 1st choice: Chilaquiles was amazing 2nd choice: if u want dessert for breakfast cinnamon swirl pancakes were delicious as well 3rd: Mushroom Omelette was a classic brunch items. No wow factor just a decent dish.

Took my husband here on a brunch date. Place was very welcoming, staff super friendly, food very delicious. I recommend calling ahead for a reservation as the place is pretty small and can get packed fast.

We were really impressed by the 8th Café! The service was incredibly friendly and fast — you instantly feel welcome here. The food completely exceeded our expectations: fresh, healthy, and full of flavor, which you wouldn’t normally expect from a place like this. Definitely a hidden gem and worth a visit!

I do not normally spend time doing reviews but please do yourself a favour and eat here!! Tasty delicious breakfast and Amazing Tiramisu coffee! Ended up getting 2 of them soo delicious! Great service! Best food - we had to wait 30 min for table but was worth it!! love love it!! :):)
