We definitely will be back, many times. This was a great experience. Jean Claude and the owner Earnest - were fabulous and so friendly. You won’t find another spot with this kind of friendly staff AND excellent food. Thanks for a great night out.

My wife and I noticed this little gem when we drove by randomly one morning. Made a point to come back when they were open (they open at 5pm).

It’s a fantastic spot, and we can’t wait to go back! They have very attentive and friendly staff. Must be 40-50 wines available, most by the glass as well as by the bottle. International and domestic, representing a variety of growing regions. And the food was delicious, quick, and fairly priced.

We especially appreciated that the chef came out on multiple occasions to check on our enjoyment of his dishes. And while our server was quick to attend us, when we flagged another server (not assigned our table) for a spur of the moment request, he too was very friendly and patient.

I also want to point out that parking was extremely easy. It’s in a parking garage (90 minutes are validated, otherwise it’s $2 or $3 per hour), just steps from the front door of the bistro. Also, there are 3 or 4 EV charging spots, which I find helpful.

All in all, we had a brilliant time and will probably make this a regular spot. I highly recommend it.

We went to California Vintage Wine Bistro last week for our anniversary, and it was such a memorable experience. The owner/manager was incredibly kind—he wished us a happy anniversary, spent time chatting with us about the menu, and explained how everything is made from scratch, which is rare and amazing to see in the restaurant world today.

The food was outstanding—we had pasta that was absolutely delicious. To top it off, they surprised us with dessert, and the owner was so generous he even gave me a gift.

This place truly goes above and beyond. We’ll definitely be coming back!

California Vintage Wine Bistro is a true gem! The food is delicious, the service is impeccable, and the atmosphere is lovely. We loved that the chef came out to visit before we ordered and was really flexible with a substitution to accommodate my diet. Everyone on staff was friendly and welcoming.

The wine and food was absolutely delicious. Starting with the crab cakes and fried chicken for appetizers. The Salmon over garlic butter mash potatoes and vegetables were tasty and cooked exactly as ordered. The atmosphere is very nice, cozy and clean. The staff was attentive and kind. I definitely recommend this hidden gem for wine and for a delicious dinner. I can’t wait to go back.

Love this amazing bistro where the service by Shea was amazing and the food was delicious. We had a wonderful bottle of Spanish wine and the large charcuterie board along with the fried chicken for starters. I won’t lie, I was full with that , but the hubbs wanted to try more! We then had the fettuccine Alfredo and that was amazing. Shea was so wonderful and we are definitely looking forward to going back soon!

The best

A time was had yesterday celebrating my girls 55th birthday! If you don't know or have not heard about the California Vintage Wine Bistro (BLACK OWNED) in Orange County you SHOULD so consider yourself informed. This restaurant is AMAZING, the SERVICE IMPECCABLE, the food DELICIOUS, the owner Mr. Ernest SO FREAKIN COOL!! We had the PLEASURE of meeting and having a great conversation with the Chief (Gracia). This restaurant is the perfect spot for a date night, friends night out, celebrating your birthday or shoot just dinner with your family or by yourself. TRUST ME YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED! The restaurant sits directly across the street from the Anaheim Stadium.

A 10/10 phenomenal dining experience from the presentation of the charcuterie board to the Vintage Wine to the Main Entrees, hands down one of best restaurants SoCal has to offer!!! I can easily see this restaurant spreading its magic across the world!
