I tired this place because I had a bad experience with my regular carnitas spot, (zaragozas in Santa Ana). Carnitas don Julián was very good! There prices vary if you dine in vs take out. I liked the color of the carnitas they looked very appetizing. The salsas were also good and the taste of the carnitas…excellent. Will come back for sure.

I was craving carnitas as I was getting ready to watch the Chargers beat the Raiders. I did a quick Google Maps search and this small restaurant popped up near me. I missed it the first time, so be on the look out for a small entrance next to a fence.
First time there, but I can tell you it smelled delicious and was very clean inside.
I ordered a pound of carnitas and an order of onions/cilantro. Order was ready within a few minutes.
They accept visa/Mastercard and cash. They have a small assortment of bottles Mexicans sodas in a fridge behind the register well.
I'll definitely be going back as the carnitas were very tender and flavorful. The only downside, no chicharon casero. 😔
Check it out if You're ever in a rush and want some good carnitas.

Felt very welcome here. It’s a small shop just a couple tables inside, more outside, very humble. Service was great, super quick and consistent. I was pretty satisfied with three tacos and a bite of my nephew’s, my mom had the same. They tasted rich without being heavy, I think the added pork rind is a must. Salsas red and green were good as well. The refried beans here are special too.

Of carnitas with rice, beans, tortillas for $18. There service is great and both the cashier and cooks are friendly. Do yourself a favor and try them, you will be hooked.
