The place is clean, presentable and pleasant. The staff are professional, well groomed and dressed as if they take pride in their work. The service was quick, courteous and efficient. The food was delicious, generous portions and presentation was pleasant. In the background the music matches the setting. You feel as if you have been transported to South America.

The octopus, too, was masterfully prepared: tender, with just the right amount of seasoning, bringing out its natural flavor without overpowering it. And the ceviche? This place was something I loved. I have been there multiple times. The owner offered me to make my jalea spicy by adding jalapeños slices. When I went back, I ordered a jalea and the owner's son charged me three dollars to add jalapeños slices. I explained that his father suggested making it spicy, but never mentioned that I would pay three dollars for a few jalapeño slices. Upon my arrival home, I opened it and discovered a spotty unsliced jalapeño (bad). I was so upset that I discarded the entire thing. The owner is a really nice person, and I hope his son was as nice. He treated me like I was asking him for free food. If you are looking for decent Peruvian food, I suggest El Rocoto. The food is superior and the service is excellent. On 10/17/24, I made another trip and spent $90 on a jalea, a lomo saltado and two drinks. The food is not good. The jalea tasted like rotten oil, and the lomo saltado had very little beef. This place is over for me. 🤬🤬🤬

Everything about this place is fantastic. Food is amazing and service is pretty quick too. The restaurant is small but efficient. I was there on Saturday evening and they were under staffed but still delivered satisfactory service. I hope to go back again although it's not really in my area I'll make an effort to go there even if it's a little out of my way.
