If you’re looking for an authentic South Indian dining experience, Chennai Tiffin is an absolute gem. I recently visited and sampled their Masala Dosa, Idli, Puri, and South Indian Coffee, and I must say, it was a delightful journey through the flavors of South India. Masala Dosa: The dosa was perfectly crispy on the outside and had a generous, flavorful potato filling. The accompanying coconut chutney and sambar were fresh and aromatic, enhancing every bite. Idli: The idlis were soft, fluffy, and melted in the mouth. Paired with the tangy sambar and creamy chutneys, they were a simple yet comforting dish. Puri: The puris were served hot, puffed, and golden brown, with a mildly spiced potato curry that was a perfect complement. The portion size was generous, making it a hearty option. South Indian Coffee: Ending the meal with their signature filter coffee was the highlight. It was brewed to perfection, with just the right balance of strength and sweetness, served in a traditional steel tumbler and dabarah, adding an authentic touch. The ambiance of Chennai Tiffin is clean, simple, and welcoming, reflecting the warmth of South Indian hospitality. The service was quick, and the staff was courteous, making the dining experience even better. Overall, Chennai Tiffin is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic South Indian food. Whether you’re a first-timer or a seasoned lover of South Indian cuisine, this place won’t disappoint. I look forward to coming back to try more of their menu! Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5)

Please stay away from the stale food. Dosa, idly and medhu Vada are sour in taste. Coconut chutney from a South Indian chennai tiffins restaurant is so sour and tasteless. I have no words to describe the food taste and it is hopeless to see such food in USA. If you can’t deliver quality, don’t prepare and don’t sell and don’t take your left over batters from fridge to deliver our morning tiffins.

The food was stale. The idly was hard as a rock! The chutney and sambar had gone bad.

The place probably is called CHUPS or something. Inaccurate timings as we went there on Monday afternoon and the place was completely stripped and no staff anywhere to be seen.

This hidden gem tastes just like homemade goodness! During my visit to Disneyland from NJ, I stumbled upon this quaint restaurant. We indulged in Thalapakkati biriyani, chili chicken, chettinad chicken, butter dosa, coffee, and garlic naan, and each dish was a delight. The chef, a Tamilian, truly knows their craft, surpassing even the renowned Anjappar restaurant in flavor. Hospitality was exceptional. Look out for the sign 'CHUPS' instead of 'Chennai Tiffins' outside. While primarily catering-focused, dining in is an option, albeit with food served in takeout boxes and disposable plates and cutlery. Yet, the abundance of tables ensures a relaxed atmosphere. It's never overcrowded, and the restrooms are impeccably clean. A must-visit for a taste of authentic Tamil cuisine!

Surprised to see their rating at 3.6. Food is excellent, service is great and very friendly will definitely be back again. We travel a lot, and go to a lot of restaurants, was skeptical at first because of the rating, but thought, give it a shot and this place didnt disappoint us. Good for a quick bite to eat. Atmosphere is a little dull, but besides that, it hits the spot. Keep it up guys.Ohhh yes. It's called Chups Kitchen, because it had 5 different kitchens in one place.

Vegetarian options: South Indian food and Indo Chinese food is good.

I got it delivered. We called the restaurant and requested extra sambar and chutney. The cheese dosa is made with mozzarella cheese and the sambar/chutneys were spicy. The idli/vada combination was their best dish.
