We love Don Carlos! We come nearly every Sunday after church. It is always excellent food and excellent service. Great portions for the price, and the staff are always friendly.

Service is good, food is good
I had some of the best fried chicken and onion rings for a place not known for these items. The chicken was a golden brown, had a nice crunch and juicy meat which is rare outside of a chicken restaurant. The onion rings are wonderfully seasoned and the breading sticks to the rings which is really nice. The workers are really nice as well. The only negatives is the place looks rundown especially on the outside and some of the meals I've had in the past were under seasoned. However, the positives outweigh the negatives so I'll be back.
Fresh delicious food!!! 10+???

Honest review. Overall the experience was just OK. But like many other reviewer‘s have noted the price for the quality of the food is totally out of balance. I would say the menu and drinks are probably 40% higher than anyone should be paying for the quality of the meal +drinks. . The impression I have is it they are struggling financially and cutting corners everywhere they can including watering down the drinks, and overcharging four the tequila’s which is rare in Mexico. For example, I paid 96 pesos for a margarita where I could not taste any tequila. So I ordered a straight Don Julio Traditional and paid 169 pesos. Essentially I paid 270 pesos for a complete margarita that even in the United States would be way overpriced Anyway if the price is not a concern, it’s not strictly necessary to get a great meal, and Don Carlos his convenience then you’ll find an OK meal.
