I had some of the best fried chicken and onion rings for a place not known for these items. The chicken was a golden brown, had a nice crunch and juicy meat which is rare outside of a chicken restaurant. The onion rings are wonderfully seasoned and the breading sticks to the rings which is really nice. The workers are really nice as well. The only negatives is the place looks rundown especially on the outside and some of the meals I've had in the past were under seasoned....
We have always enjoyed the food at Don Carlos & this trip was no exception during our two meals. The prior visit we were lucky to catch a wonderful buffet at this restaurant affording me the opportunity to try several new dishes. Don Carlos is a real jewel.
