Went for their Taco Tuesday special. The flavor was good and oh my goodness do they fill up the taco with meat amd double tortilla. The salsa are spicy and have good flavor too. Definitely give them a try. I also saw they have daily specials during the week.

Don’t get me wrong, Food is delicious. but it is Very irritating that the store front does not ever stay open until the time posted on their door 3pm. I’ve gone at 2pm and at 1pm during the week & both times are closed already. If you’re gonna post store front hours on google and your door, don’t close early every day. If that’s the case then change your hours.

We recently had our wedding catered by Efrain's, and I can’t recommend them enough! The selection of food for our buffet was excellent and everyone raved about how delicious everything was. The owner was so welcoming during the initial tasting; she truly listened to our preferences and made the experience enjoyable. Her administrative assistant was just as fantastic! She took care of all our emails and the billing process with impressive detail. Always friendly and available, it felt like I could reach out anytime without any hassle. On the day of the wedding, the staff who came to serve were phenomenal. They set everything up beautifully, from the hors d'oeuvres to the main buffet, creating a perfect atmosphere for our guests. They were attentive throughout, serving everyone and even cutting our cake for us. When our guests finished eating, they cleared the plates quickly and efficiently, which helped keep everything running smoothly.

Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better catering experience. If you're planning a wedding, I highly recommend Efrain's Catering!

This is one of our favourite places in Placentia, and just can’t be beat on price.

I love the red Barbacoa tacos and the consume (which is not on the menu but which you CAN order separately).

I also love that you get your own sides and napkins, etc, as that has really sped up the service and reduced waste by allowing us to get exactly what we want and no more. It’s usually the perfect amount of time from when you order to go over, grab what you want (from the three kinds of salsa, cut limes (or lemons, depending on the day), cilantro, and onion-cilantro mix).

FEEDBACK: I’ve noticed recently that some of the tacos have included really fatty bits of meat, which has turned off some of my friends from eating there with me. Some reinforcement for the cooks to ensure a consistent mix of fat and meat in the tacos might be helpful.

We just had an event this Saturday for my daughter's quinceañera, we had a buffet with Efren Catering and our experience was excellent. I dealt with Fatima and she sent Mrs. Ana with 4 servers and they were very kind, friendly to the people, they had a good presentation. and the food, Mrs. Ana always made sure that everything was good and the food was delicious. Our event was for 220 people with 2 different dishes and the food was enough and left over. Thank you again and highly recommended.

Great food! However, now you have to do all your own sides in a sides bar to save them time and it is quite time consuming for you as you go in. Otherwise it would be 5 stars for service. Prices and food is still amazing. And the workers are always nice!

PLEASE READ!!!!!!Terrible business terrible morals ruined my quincenera!!! This place and the lady who assisted us Roxanna were given a list of the layout we would need for my surprise dance etc.. but instead of Roxanna being there the day of to make sure everything was going smoothly she didn't show! so the people she sent to organize didn't know the layout and made us move the tables ourselves??!! The ac at the place THEY worked for was broken and they didn't tell us ahead of time so my makeup ruined keep in mind this was in July so it was over 80 degrees. They made us pay an up charge for their own mistakes ($500++). Roxanna was unprofessional and rude to me and guided us the wrong ways. We were under the impression my table covers would be hunter green and we paid extra for the intricate designs on it and Roxanna showed us some random blue green one that looked nothing like what we saw originally at the showing. The food was buffet style but it was a single lady serving it and they said they would provide the cups etc but they made us last minute go buy cups the DAY of and thirty minutes before! we were so lucky the chefs were there and could run to the store and get us some. Good food great food actually. The last experience I had was an order that we called in 3 -4 hours prior for 50 street tacos to be picked up at a certain time and we ended up having to wait an extra 45-60 min which made me late. So not great with the order time but everything was good besides that so I suggest calling in the morning for any large order for pickup at night or calling the day before

So I’ve lived not far from this place for awhile now and finally remember it and decided to give them a try.I ordered 4 grande asada tacos, 3 Al pastor tacos and the nacho fries. The food tasted ok but the problem I had was the tacos just meat and corn tortillas I’m used to having onion and cilantro on my street tacos, there was none to be found. The nacho fries only had meat, cheese and a little sour cream. The menu says it was supposed to have beans, Pico de gallo and Avocado also but none of those three made it to my food. If there was somewhere i was supposed to add it to my food myself no one told me where to get those things.Also information on their website needs to change because the restaurant is not open on Saturdays. Also if you’re not going to sell Milanesa tortas you should take it off the menu. I tried to order one last night and the worker made it sound like they haven’t had that in a while. We were disappointed in our meal.
