Good mexican food and cocktails. Our wives had the Coconut Margerita, they both loved it.

Cozy atmosphere. Prompt and friendly service. Food was delicious as usual. Prices went up after covid, but food and portions are well worth it.

This place rekindled memories of the original El Cholo in Los Angeles. The food was very good and the atmosphere very warm.
I don't know if the original location is the best one, I hope it is. This one is just very meh. I've had better and I've had worse.
Staff was nice, chips were pretty good. We felt the food was expensive for the serving size. I think there are better options out there.

Chicken was cold and tough on my salad. Fresh cooked at El Torito is better...

We had a family get-together here and we hadn't been here in a few years. The staff were amazing, but the food and pricing were really lacking - they just didn't match. Our hostess, waitress and everyone was very attentive and brought plenty of drinks, refills, chips, etc. They really helped celebrate a birthday as well. Where it was lacking was the food - I had Combo #1 - the cheese enchilada tasted great, but it was TINY and thin. The rolled taco was okay (meh) it had a good taste, but was soggy in throughout the center - only the edges were crisp. The chips were oily/greasy and the Salsa had a strong oregano flavor, although it was good salsa. My Combo #1 was $21.99 - so, $7.33 for the rolled taco, $7.33 for the cheese enchilada and $7.33 for the rice (I had no beans)? It just seemed like very little food for $22 plate. My son had the cheese quesadilla and it was pathetic, although made from a home-made tortilla.

Went on a weekend lunch. Food and service were excellent. Portions were large.
Maybe a good atmosphere in the evening.
