The food isn’t bad, I’d give it 3 stars for taste. But the service was very disappointing. We waited over 50 minutes just for six manakish, which is far too long for such a simple order. There were only two tables, ours and one other, so if the place were crowded, I can’t imagine how long it would take… maybe a whole month!
On top of that, they’re extremely cheap with the sides. We were given just a tiny piece of lemon and barely any vegetables, even though our order included both meat and zaatar manakish. It felt stingy and unwelcoming. Honestly, the food looks better than it actually is.

Long time for food. 4 manaqeesh took almost an hour and the restaurant was empty. They barely gave us any service. A small piece of lemon for 2 lahm ajeen. Where are the lemons? Are you making lemonade?

I placed my order over the phone before leaving on purpose for it to be ready just for me to pick it up. When I arrived, it still wasn’t ready. I ended up waiting 30 extra minutes. Even after the order was prepared and set aside, no one notified me, there’s no number system or way to track whose order is ready.
To make matters worse, one of the items was the wrong flavor. It was too late to wait another 30 minutes for a correction. I had to leave it as is.
It’s disappointing, especially since this isn’t the first time. The food is good, but the management is 0.

I came to Forn Al Hara in Anaheim and wow—this spot is seriously a hidden gem! I ordered the Zaatar manaeesh, Cheese manaeesh, spinach fateyer, and some sambusik, and everything was so fresh and flavorful. The dough was soft and warm, and the zaatar was perfectly balanced. The cheese and spinach were both super satisfying, and the sambusik had that perfect crispy outside and savory filling.
The staff was really friendly and welcoming, and the place had a cozy, authentic vibe. You can tell they take pride in their food. Best part? Everything is 💯 halal, which is a huge plus! Definitely recommend this place if you’re in Little Arabia or just craving some real, delicious Middle Eastern baked goods. I’ll for sure be coming back!
