Ordered the Gumbo and was severely disappointed, came out with a film of grease, and was thick and gloopy lacking any savory flavor. Left in a worse mood than I had when I came in.

Service was great ??I got the spicy chicken sandwich with fries. I realized after the first bite into it that was a mistake. Spicy was a joke.Mac and cheese was better than my sandwich. Not really impressed.

Today I wasn't very hungry so I only bought the side dishes, but Cajun rice was the best and the rest - potato salad, slow cole, corn bread - were also good.

Upon arrival, Samantha our server provided some fresh cornbread to try. It was hot and fresh. I couldn’t get enough of it. I had the fried catfish along with grits and mac and cheese. The catfish was freshly cooked. It was hot but the seasoning was just right. The Mac and cheese was to die for. I finished my whole plate. Samantha was super nice and really enjoyed helping customers to make sure they have a great experience.

Whenever I’m in OC, I love coming to The Anaheim Packing Company. Lots of great choices for dining. That being said, today I tried Georgia’s Restaurant. I had the shrimp and grits and it was amazing! So glad I ventured away from my usuals. The shrimp and grits were true to southern cooking. Portions are large and if you’re dining in, cornbread is complementary. Corn bread was good too with just a little sweetness. This is definitely a repeat next time I’m in Orange County.

Ordered several things--bbq sliders, house salad with the grilled chicken, fried green tomatoes--all very good. Though you order at the counter, we had a very diligent and sweet team member who checked in on us, refilled drinks, and got an answer about a potential allergy while we sat at one of their tables. AND their sweet tea was truly Southern--SWEET!!!

I had the gumbo. While pretty tasty I think it was a rather small portion for the price.

Brought my friends to the Packing District to try something new.We ordered chili cheese fries to share. They were pretty delicious. Not my favorite chili for fries but it was pretty tasty and definitely enough to share. We also got some bbq pulled pork sliders to share. Very flavorful and a good option for sharing with the 3 of us.

The food was incredible. We did receive cold garlic fries, and the staff immediately took them back and made a new batch for us. The corn bread is so delicious, I should have asked for more. I'm looking forward to going back soon!
