Leaving a 1 star review because….

Last Saturday we came here to celebrate a family member’s birthday, and unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. From the start, our group was treated poorly by our server. He gave us the worst service I’ve ever experienced — rude gestures, constant excuses for late food and drinks, and overall unprofessional behavior.

To make matters worse, he was dressed in Padres gear while our group was supporting the Dodgers, which made us feel like that might have been the reason for the discrimination and unfair treatment we received.

The birthday guest was even cut off from drinking for slightly slurring his words. At a brewery — where the main purpose is to serve drinks — this felt unnecessary and handled with zero understanding, especially on someone’s birthday.

We voiced our concerns to management, but nothing was done. For anyone considering celebrating a birthday or special occasion here, I’d strongly suggest looking elsewhere. This is not the place for it.

Quick Points
-a very popular brewery beer garden and tap room
-great for families with a lot of TVs indoor and out
-parking is very difficult, lots get full early and street parking can be a challenge
-ton of options for beer for everyone
-open till late; Midnight on weekends
-can get very busy and finding open table inside or with shade outside may be hard
-full service kitchen with QR code menu

Golden Road brewery is right across Angel Stadium. On game days parking can get tough. A great place to hang out with friends and families. I have had birthdays here and it’s always first come first serve unless it’s a really large group to rent out the place.
Golden road beer needs no introduction! They have everything you know and love indoors and outdoors. On busy weekends all 3 bars are open. 2 bars outside and the main bar. Servers come to you and take your order and bring food.

Came here for drinks and food. The place is spacious. It was packed and there's always people leaving and arriving. It's kid and dog friendly.

They had sports playing on the TV and have a nice selection of drinks and food. My friend and I ordered a couple drinks and popcorn chicken (big chunks) with fries, which were good.

The staff are efficient and check up on you at times, which was great.

waited for more than an HR for a server to come by, I apporached one of the bartneders and they assisted with calling a server to help me, even then they didnt come by, each time they passed blantley ignored me & my pregnant wife. Yet three other people who sat right after us got drinks & food delievered. Never have I recieved such horrible service/ felt so unseen. The bartenders were so amazing, and even when i bought to their attention they apologized. i felt discriminated as all the white people sitting around us got attentive service.

Love this place! Huge space to hang out before or after an Angel game (walking distance.) They have a happy hour that lasts 6:30-11:00 (close) along with great food options!

Thank you to Eric at Golden Road for being an absolute MVP of a manager. We visited GRB last weekend & Your customer service was amazing, very hospitable & personable. The vegan options here are incredible. We ordered almost one of everything form the plant based menu, hands down the lemon pepper wings are out of this world! The housmade vegan ranch is the best we’ve ever had & their sriracha caeser dressing is fantastic. 10/10 would recommend.

Waited 40 minutes for a sandwich (not unusual elsewhere) but still they apologized and gave it to me for free

This golden broad brewing location is huge. There are lots of seats available. The service is great. Our server was very attentive. I like that they have added not alcoholic options to their menu. The non alcoholic mango cart michelada was so good!

This is a great option before an Angels game. I decided to pay the same $20 parking fee as the stadium and use the $5 voucher to offset the cost of beer and food. There are indoor and outdoor settings, both of which are family-friendly. As large as this place is, I was surprised and impressed at how attentive the service was. The food options are limited, but they were good and reasonably priced. The beer seemed to be limited to IPA-style. I’m not sure what would motivate me to visit when there isn’t a game, because the parking is limited and situated in an industrial park setting.

Chill relaxed environment... always a good time. Come early to avoid clutter... good food. Good drinks and games for the crowd.

The staff was great! You can enjoy an outside setting or an indoor setting. The menu is extensive, ranging from tacos to wings, pizza, sandwiches, and more. They also have a variety of drinks available.

Shitty ambience McDonald’s brewery.

Went here Friday night and every bartender and waitress was rude.

Only nice employees were the professional busser and the young African American woman who brought out our horrible food.

Junk place dusty tasting beer don’t waste your clams.

They have a server based system and prefer you don't go up to the bar to get your drinks, but it takes forever to wait for a server. Can't even enjoy yourself because you're spending 20 minutes flailing your arms around waiting for your server to notice you every time you want something.

Even worse, if you don't close out with your server (and why would you when it takes 20 minutes to do so?), they force a 20% tip on you when they close you out the end of the day. Essentially rewarding the server that ignored you with a 20% tip because you didn't want to wait forever to close out with them.

They need to just let people get drinks at the bar, and if someone orders a lot of drinks or food, give them a table number and have a server bring it out. Every other brewery seems to have it figured it out except this one. Definitely don't prefer coming here but every once in a while I'll find myself here and its the same experience every time.
