So so worthwhile taking these classes if you're wanting get a bit more serious, yet also wanting enjoy speciality coffee more intentionally. We took the comprehensive class which included tasting, roasting and brewing. We learned so much from each class but also was not overwhelmed, as Jared our certified Q grader instructor (and founder of hacea) presented the content in a very approachable but not dumbed down way. I recently took a coffee training class, and it was an amazing experience! We went in as people who simply love coffee and wanted to learn more for fun, but we walked out with a whole new appreciation for it. The class covered so much ground, taking us from the seed all the way to the cup.
