Our bartender Jessica was lovely! We had a special old fashioned from the menu with a smoke (special pride too) & the golden rush hour, both great.

We have never been to the Hearthstone before and were so impressed with our first experience last night that we truly regret over looking it before now.
First of all, it's a beautiful restaurant with a gorgeous bar. The ambiance is Yosemite Lodge elegant and welcoming without being pretentious.
The cocktails were thoughtful and skillfully executed. The wine offerings are everything you could want in a California forward list.
And, most importantly, the food was plentiful, delicious, and surprising. There were little touches in each dish that show the chefs have been encouraged to bring a playful yet serious attitude to their menu.
We will be back, and soon!

We had dinner last night for my daughter’s 24th birthday. Food was very decent. Music is way too loud it was very overwhelming. Food took way too long to come out. Would choose a different restaurant next time.
Hearthstone Lounge was our 1st stop on our Disneyland vacation - the bartenders are true mixologists with playful banter to boot. Our drink were delicious and the warm ambiance of the lounge was very inviting.

Waiting for 45 minutes for my food. What a shame. I order a chicken salad to go and I waited for almost 1 hour for a salad. The restaurant was not busy. I felt like the staff didn’t care until I asked for my money back then everyone was scrambling to get my salad. The manager was ok. He gave me a full refund. The other restaurant next to the pool area was excellent, good food, amazing service , and the staff was super nice. Don’t waste your time eating here you will be waiting for hours to get your food.

For a later dinner, this was a nice spot to grab some food that wasn't in the parks or Downtown Disney. Service was great and I love how chill the vibes were. The food was tasty but for almost $40, it definitely could've been better. Cheese wasn't as melted and felt a bit lukewarm.

We had the absolute worst experience here… We had some food from the park that we were told by the lead was OK.An employee By the name of Jenny acted as if we were having a full course Thanksgiving meal at her bar… After sealing up the bag, she was completely disrespectful to me and my party and provided zero communication while we were trying to pay our bill. She had fully walked away and rolling her eyes at me while we were unsure if we had completely paid or not. As we were walking out, she rudely stopped us to sign the bill… Which is fine, however, we were unsure because she was completely uncommunicative while we were exiting. Love this hotel, however avoid the bar staff if possible. this hotel is recognized by Forbes, but I can assure you that Forbes would not approve of this kind of service.

Another great visit today at Hearthstone Lounge! Great customer service from the two that were working. 8.26.25.
Good drinks. Regular Old Fashioned $21. I'll try the specialty one for $35 next time. The only negative is that they open so late. 4pm. A hotel bar should be open all day, especially for dads/moms who want to escape the hectic parks.

I’ve been a frequent guest throughout the years, but it has been awhile since I’ve came in due to the reservations. However, it was my anniversary and I wanted to treat my wife. The food is good, but over priced in my opinion. The craft cocktails were excellent. Now, you are wondering why I gave a one star, and why this is my first review.
I was appalled at a conversation I overheard. A bartender Brianna was laughing and giggling with a guest next to us about “getting” someone named Jenny. Whether Jenny is their ex, a coworker or another guest, the things she was saying were not appropriate. I’m disappointed that this is the type of behavior that Disney allows.

Another great restaurant in the Grand Californian Hotel. My only regret is that it took us 6 or 7 trips staying at the Grand Californian Hotel to finally try it. I had flaky buttermilk buttered chicken sandwich. The chicken was large, juicy, well-seasoned and very crispy. The Canadian bacon and cheese were excellent compliments to the flavor of the chicken. While I loved the sandwich I would probably try something else on my next trip just to see what other great options they might have. My wife and eldest daughter each got the Parmesan-crusted grilled cheese sandwich. I didn’t try it, but they both stated it was one of the best grilled cheese sandwiches they’ve had. It uses the same type of cheese and Canadian bacon that was in my sandwich, so I can imagine it was very tasty. My youngest daughter ordered the pepperoni pizza and was generous enough to let my have a piece. The crust was airy and crispy. The pepperoni tasted high quality. Overall, a very good slice of pizza. While the restaurant doesn’t really cater to young kids (no kids menu that I’m aware of), the presence of a pepperoni pizza option gives them a nice kid friendly option. We will definitely be having several meals here during our next Disneyland trip.

This was my first time there since before Covid. It used to be such a wonderful relaxing lounge. Not anymore and now you need reservations. No more walking in casually! My Hubs and I found a table in the lobby. I was told we wouldn’t be served out there, but that wasn’t true. The food is very expensive and we waited quite awhile for ours plus beverages. After loving this place for years we won’t be back!

Stayed at the hotel and come one night at 11:20pm to do a bit of work on my computer. The bar was full but I was one of the only two tables occupied. I didn’t get served for a long time, one sever (not mine) tried very hard to not make eye contact with me and there were two or three people always gathered at the hostess stand who I had to call over anytime I needed attention. I ordered a sandwich which came with cold fries, again, it took a while to get someone’s attention to the matter and a long time to get them replaced. I still paid full price for the meal, which included a $26 glass of wine (which was very good) but the price and service, the value was low.

Great cocktail menu and highly recommend the pizzas. They have great flavor and a great crust. They are really meant for individuals unless you are not hungry as they are fairly small if you were to share atmosphere is definitely more upscale feeling than most of the restaurants in the hotel, but it’s a great place for adults to have dinner And enjoy a nice cocktail. You definitely will pay premium prices for it though.

Reservation was at 8:30 pm. We checked in at 8. They sat us at 9pm. Then no one came to us for an hour. We were walking out and they said that they could get the food to us in 30 minutes. So we waited a total of 2 hours to have to wait another 30 minutes for the food. Mind you we tried to flag down MULTIPLE workers and they all made eye contact and turned away. I felt like I was waving my hand like a crazy person. I even went up at 30 min mark and the waiter said someone will be right with us. We played two games of chess so obviously it looked like we were ready to order. Even the water person went to the other tables to fill their cups but completely sidetracked us. The party of 4 got their drinks when we sat down. They were eating dessert by the time we left. I got the 8:30 time as I wanted us to eat and have enough time to go through California Adventure but by the time we left we were starving and the park was closing. I tried to complain to guest service and the very kind man told me to go to the website. All the online Disney guest service said was sorry and they will talk to someone.... So all I am saying is don't go here if you got money to spend and are hungry because they just forget about you. We left the park entirely and went and got in N out. Never been disappointed by them or Disney before. Also, it wasn't busy... at 8 when we got there for checkin it was busy. By 9 o'clock we went in to sit down and half the restaurant was empty. Don't go here. The other restaurant by the pool is better. Or better yet the buffet. At least you can get up and get your own food.

The atmosphere was great, but Gloria our server she was absolutely horrible. Not once during enough food, did she ask how it was once during the drink she asked how was it for $22 for food for five wings she should be asking she should be looking at me in the eyes instead just walking away.. I will never come back here and make sure to tell all my friends in the Disneyland community this place is not it
